Lauren's POV: Laura looked horrible. She had a lot of cuts & tubes all over her body. I got closer to her. "Laura, why? Why have you done this to yourself?!" I asked worried. My voice cracked. "They told me to..." Laura said with a raspy voice. Pain was written all over her face. "Who are they?" I asked in tears. "Karan & his girlfriend." She said. "But, Laura, that's impossible! The police took Karan! & Karan doesn't have a girlfriend!" I said shocked. "But... it's the truth! I'm not lying!" She said trying to stand up. "Mrs Serrano, please, calm down. It'll hurt more if you move." A nurse said. "I don't care! I can't feel suffer more than I'm suffering right now! I need yo get out of here! Lauren! They are gonna come back again & kill me! Please! I need to get out of here! Believe me!" Laura shouted in panic. "Lauren! Cameron! Please! You have to believe me!" Laura shouted crying. "It's better if you two wait outside until she's calm again." The nurse said. We nodded & went outside the room. "We need to tell the police!" Cameron said worried. I gave him a peek on the lips. "Calm down sweetie. Maybe Laura was lying, but if what Laura has said is true & we tell the police they are not gonna believe us! We can't prove that what Laura said is true!" I said. "But I really wanna help her, I don't wanna see her suffer like this... we have to think about a plan..." I continued. "I got it!" Cameron said.
