Laura's POV: I woke up at someone crying so I decided to go downstairs & see what had happened. I got up & went downstairs. It was Lauren! "Lauren, are you okay?" I asked worried. She whipped some of her tears away & looked at me. "Y-yeah, I was just... you know... watching The Fault In Our Stars & started crying." She said. She was obviously lying. I sat down next to her. "Lauren, you're not okay & you weren't watching The Fault In Our Stars because the TV is off, tell me the truth, you know that I'm here for you, I won't judge you, I won't tell anyone, I only want to help you, like I've always done. Just tell me watch happened." I said whipping some of her tears away. "I tell you if you promise that you won't get mad at me." She said. "Promise." I said. "Well... I've been dating Cameron since you were at the hospital & we didn't tell you because we didn't know how you were gonna react-" "That's amazing news Lauren! I-" "But, today, a few minutes ago I told Cameron to come & I've broken up with him." She said sobbing. "Why have you broken up with him?!" I asked. "Because you love him & he clearly loves you!" She answered. "But... WHAT THE F ARE YOU SAYING?! I do love him but you love him more than I do! Now go to Cameron's house & tell him that I know that you were dating & I want you to be a couple again!" I said madly. "B-but yo-" "I'm okay with you being a couple, I'm a thought cookie, like you. If he makes you happy that makes me happy too." I said cutting her off. Lauren smiled & hugged me. "I know that you won't be happy if Cameron & I date! I want YOU to be happy! If that means that I can't date Cameron I won't date him!" Lauren said letting go. "But-" "No buts! Cameron & I aren't & will NEVER be a thing!" Lauren said interrupting me.
