Her:
She wears a smile
A fake smile,
But everyone thinks it is real.
She has scars,
She put those on herself,
But no one knows the story.
She says she is fine,
When she is dying inside,
People believe her.
She cries out for help,
No one answers her,
They don’t know what is wrong
So it is easier to ignore
Than find out.
She holds a knife
To her wrist,
The cause of her scars,
But no one knows
The truth.
She is alone,
No one knows why,
They never go to her
They never try to help her.
She wears a smile,
And people think she is happy
When she is truthfully dying.
She is lost,
But no one helps her
She is forgotten.
Tossed aside
And no one seems to care.
She gives to everyone,
But no one helps her.
Him:
He wears a smile
A fake smile
Everyone believes he is happy
When he is actually dying.
He laughs so easily,
But he is dying inside
And no one comes to his aide.
He is so alone,
But no one comes to him,
He is forgotten
Tossed aside.
He gives to everyone
But they don’t give back.
He has scars,
But no one knows what from,
They just ignore them
And ignore him.
He is frustrated,
Tired of life,
But no one knows why.
He keeps to himself,
Hiding the pain,
He says he is fine,
But truthfully isn’t
But no one cares.
Them:
They wear fake smile,
But people think they are real,
They sit alone
But no one knows why.
They have scars,
From what?
No one ever knows.
No one tries
To find out their story
Or help them
Though they help everyone else.
They are forgotten and tossed aside
No one will remember them.
They are frustrated,
Tired of life,
But no one knows why.
They say they are fine,
But they are dying inside.
People believe them though
And they just walk away.
They give to everyone
But no one gives in return.
They cry for help,
But no one comes to them.
People don’t know why
They cry
So it is easier to ignore
Than to try to find out
What is wrong.
People judge them
Never knowing their story
And not wanting to find out.
So there they are
Wearing fake smiles,
Hoping that one day
Someone will come to their aide.
