I woke up and saw the bear was gone in the night time. I shrugged it off a little mad that I gave him a name and he still left. I started to walk alone. At least, I thought I was until I heard a shuffle behind me. "Who's there?" I called. Drakel then stepped out and I smiled. "I thought you'd left me!" I looked at Drakel surprised. He lumbered to me as I walked to the clearing where Cicillia and I first met. "Cicillia? Where are you?" I called. She then stepped out of some bushes and smiled at me. "Hello Luke" she seemed entranced as she said that. "You're late. Tell me the meaning of this," I saw her quiver as I yelled and my expression softened. "M-my parents caught me sneaking out, master," she managed to whimper and stutter. "I'm not your master darling." She nodded understanding and I went to her putting a two fingers on her neck feeling her pulse. She still had one. "Good, now I can feast. Don't scream love." I sank my teeth into her neck and she grunted feeling it drive into her soft flesh. Her warm blood began to flow into my mouth and I drank. She panted when I moved back and I wiped my lips. "You are my thrall until tomorrow night. Then you will be my queen and join me in immortal rule." She didn't seem to hear me, so I just sighed. "Be gone. Go home and sleep soundly." She nodded dumbly and walked away. Drakel and I sat alone in the clearing. Silence engulfed us as I stroked his rugged fur. I felt for his wound, but there was none. It healed quickly....too quickly.
