Learning to love

Chapter 1: In The Pouring Rain

" Hey Marinette can you get more flour? I'm running really low since there's a lot of customers today" Her mother said

" Yes Mother " Marinette replied and she walked out the door.

" And Also bring an umbrella it might Rain later on" Her mom said but it was too late. She sighed and bagged someone's purchase.

" I'm surprised there's no Akuma rampaging the city" Marienette stated

" But it's relaxing isn't it Marinette?" Tikki said with a joyful tone

"Mhmm" Marienette replied

She bought the groceries but earning some weird looks from people thinking she has gone crazy talking to herself.

Then when she opened the door, rain started pouring down lightly and softly on her cheeks.

" I love this type of rain its doesn't pour real hard. Don't you Tikki?" Marinette said

" Yeah but I feel like it will rain harder" Tikki replied. If it does,Tikki thought, the don't have anything to shield themselves from.

Then it started pouring down harder by the seconds and suddenly Marinette found herself looking for a place to shelter from the rain.

" Ugh! I wish I brought my umbrella! Or at least bought one" Marinette said hopelessly

" I told you Marinette" Tikki said but this was no time for Marinette to say something back in return.

Chat sighed wishing he could share his umbrella with his Lady. It would've been perfect! They would come out on the newspapers, they would take pictures together, and they would have to be together. Or so he wished.
When Chat snapped he noticed Marinette running away from the rain.
He noticed Marinette's clothes were soaking wet. He felt pity towards her and went straight to her just for her to not get more wet.

" Marinette!" Chat called out and Marinette turned around with water droplets falling off from her face.
He noticed how her hair down and soaked wet. Her blue eyes looked as beautiful as the water droplets when they poured down gracefully to the ground. Her lips were pretty as ever.
Chat notices every little detail about her. He just stared into her eyes and got closer.

" What are you doing Chat?" Marinette said

" Well I though we could share my umbrella" Chat said

Marinette wanted to protest against Chat's idea but she was already wet. She sighed and nodded.

" Don't get me wrong Marinette I just felt pity because you didn't bring an umbrella " He spoke softly.

Marinette looked at him. She kinda wished this could last a little longer. She snapped...She wanted to be with
Chat a little longer?! Marinette decided she was mentally going to snap her back to reality.

"Hey Chat I want to say something.." Marinette said softly looking on the ground

Chat looked at her. He noticed how her beauty standed out to him. He felt like time stopped. If I feel something for Marinette I must keep it a secret until the time's right. Chat made this promise secretly in his head.

" Thanks for saving me from everything and helping me out. I've wanted to thank you but I can't find the right time. Thank you Chat" Marinette said with a soft smile. Chat blushed a little bit and stared at her.

The Sun came out filling the air with a warm feeling. A rainbow appeared in the end. Chat felt time continued making his moments with Marinette end.

" It's so pretty!" Marinette said looking at the beautiful rainbow while sharing the moment with Chat.

" Yeah...it really is" Chat said and put his Umbrella back in place.

Marinette looked over at Chat noticing the sun making Chat's hair gleam. He could look like Adrien but, Chat's hair is more thicker...

" Princess I wish to be called 'My Kitty'" Chat said.

Marinette just stayed quiet and thought about it.

" Fine. Just because you've been saving me a lot " Marinette said

Marinette felt like she was going to regret this.

" Can we be friends?" Chat said loudly.

Marinette looked at him. Friends? It's not like she doesn't but, she was surprised that Chat wants to be friends.

" Okay...but just as long as you keep doing your job My Kitty" Marinette sighed.

Chat leaped to hug Marinette but she moved out of the way which made Chat fall to the ground.

"Me-Ouch" Chat said

Marinette laughed. She said 'goodbye' and watched Chat wave goodbye back.

Maybe being friends won't be bad. Maybe it's actually going to be amusing.
