Chapter 14

The men were working hard and the guardians were almost finished. The market had been finished last week and now the wall was very close to being finished. The shelters were expected to be finished in 3 weeks. Raph was now walking and healing. I stood on my balcony looking over the city. Women cleaned up with children. I smiled. Everything was going great.
"Hey."
Raph said standing beside me.
"Hello."
"How are you?"
"Very good how about you?"
"Uh good. Why are you so proper now?"
"Some of us have to grow up."
He shrugged and I sighed.
"So uh. Lets talk."
"About what?"
"Us."
I felt a but uneasy. I but my bottom lip and nodded.
"Look what I said and how I acted wasn't ok and I hate myself for it, I still love you I really do and I want you back."
I nodded.
"Please say something."
"I don't know what to say. I still love you but you need to leave some and I can't bear to get hurt again."
"You can come back with us"
"No I can't Raph, you know I can't. I have to rule the kingdom."
He nodded. He moved closer to me. He cupped my face and I moved backwards. He then leaned into me. I grabbed his arms and he wrapped them around my waist. He pulled me into him and kissed me longer.
"My queen!"
I pulled away and looked at the captain.
"Yes captain?"
"The men request a break."
"Of course. Tell them anytime they need one to take one."
"Yes my queen."
He then left.
"Wow my queen."
Raph said smirking. I smiled and he grabbed my hand.
"C'mon."
I followed him back into my room. He sat on the bed and I sat next to him. He cupped my face with one hand and with the other held my hand. He kissed me again and we began making out. I then stopped.
"What?"
"I-I don't know."
He sat back then rested on my pillows. I sat beside him and leaned into him. I read my book and he looked around my room.
"Raph when you leave and I give you powder, do you promise to come back and visit."
"Of course."
I nodded. He rubbed my arm and there was a knock on my door. I got up and opened it.
"Uh is Raph in there?"
Mikey asked.
"Yup."
Raph said opening the door wider. He walked out and followed Mikey to the throne room. I followed behind.
"Are you ready to leave?"
I walked in.
"Oh shit. Rowen-"
"You lied to me. You were just gonna leave without the powder and never come back! You told me you loved me!"
"Rowen-"
"LEAVE! Go home!"
I stormer away and he followed me.
RAPHS POV
I followed her and I grabbed her arm. She whipped around her knife.
"Let go of me."
I hit her knife away grabbed her other arm. She tried to pull away but I held her. I realized I would get in trouble with the guards. I picked her up by her waist and she kicked her legs as I still held her arms. I brought her to her room and shut the door. I sat her on her bed and held her shoulders.
"Look-"
She kicked my chin and I fell back.
"Jesus."
She ran to the door but I dragged her ankle and she fell. I sat up on my knees still holding her ankle. I pulled her and she grabbed the edge of a book shelf.
"Rowen-"
"Let go of me!"
I pulled harder and she let go. I pulled her into me and sat her on my lap. I held her arms and she elbowed my stomach. She tried running but I grabbed her again.
"Stop it."
She kept trying to get away. I pushed her against the wall.
"Listen to me please."
She looked into my eyes. Tears slowly made their way out of her eyes.
"I'm sorry what you heard but I wasn't going to leave you. Leo wanted to but the idiot forgot I can't travel yet remember? I would never do that to you."
She nodded and I hugged her.
