Chapter 13

I woke up and Rowen rubbed my hand. I had a bandage around my waist.
"I'm sorry Raph."
"Wh-what happened?"
"Well we won. I'm now queen."
I could see the sorrow in her eyes.
"Your brothers are leaving once you're healed."
I sat up and felt pain.
"Rowen."
She looked down at the cut.
"I'm sorry Raph."
I looked down at the cut and shook my head.
"It's nothing really."
She shook her head then stood.
"Feel well."
I grabbed her hand.
"Rowen-"
She pulled it away and walked out. The wizard walked in and took my bandage off. He put some type of cream on it then put a new bandage on.
"How much longer until I'm healed?"
"You'll be able to walk soon but you're to weak to travel through a portal."
I nodded.
"How long until then?"
"About 2 months."
I nodded then the wizard walked out.
I sat there and my brothers came in. They sat down and looked at me.
"So we're not leaving for about 2 months."
"Ya we know."
Leo said. I looked in his eyes.
"It's not her fault."
"I-I."
He shut his mouth and looked away.
"She didn't mean it-"
"Raph how do you know she still loves you? Here things are different."
"I know that Leo but she's different."
He shook his head then I rolled my eyes.
Rowen walked in. We all looked at her.
"Um we are having a feast soon."
We all nodded then she left.
ROWENS POV
I sat down at the table with all the guards as the people feasted outside.
"My queen we ask what are your plans on rebuilding the city?"
"Not now captain after the feast."
He nodded and the guys sat down. Raph was helped. We ate silently. Once we finished everyone left. I helped the maids clean up the plates and helped them carry them to the kitchen.
"Thank you queen."
I nodded and left. I then heard the guys arguing.
"I need to make things right with her!"
"Fine but what if she doesn't still love you?"
"We leave."
I walked past the door quickly to my room.
"Shit."
Leo walked out and followed me. I shut my door in his face.
"Rowen I'm sorry about what you heard-"
"You think I'm a cold hearted witch! That I don't love your brother and that my only intention is to hurt him!"
"Well stabbing someone doesn't exactly say-"
"I know that you shit head!"
He went silent.
"Well I'm sorry."
He finally said. I heard him walk away and I curled into bed and read a book. I looked out my window then walked out the door.
"Captain!"
"Yes my queen?"
"Follow me to the great hall."
He nodded and followed.
"Alright what part of the city has the most damage?"
"The market."
"Alright, start collecting any thing you can and we start rebuilding there. Have men on the shelters, have the wizard council to build back the guardians and have more men rebuild the wall."
"Yes queen."
They followed me out and we went to the city. the crowd gathered around.
"We are here to rebuild the city, help as much as you can. All those with no home you are welcomed in the kingdom. All men available to help please present yourself."
Lots of men stepped forward. 
"You men, work on the wall, you men the shelters and the rest of you to the market. The guards will be spread around the city helping. We start tomorrow!"
They nodded then left towards their homes. I rode back to the castle and went in.
"You're doing a lot for just one day."
"Thank you."
Raph watched me.
"Shouldn't you be in bed?"
I asked.
"Uh yeah I guess so."
He said standing up a bit. I nodded then walked off to my room. I got into bed and went to sleep.
