Chapter 3

Von POV

Once I head outside i jump in my 2016 white Audi. I left the house and head towards the trap house to see what my brother wanted.

I pulled up to the trap house off interstate I-40 on da east side. I park lock up my car in got out. I went inside daps everyone up as dey was working in smoking like usually. I found my brother Tae with my main niggas Derius and Quintin. I wonder were da fuck was Toko I ain't seen him in a min. Anyways dats not important I wanted to see wat wassup dey were looking pissed da fuck off. I dap dem up in motioned for dem to follow me to my office in da far end of da back of da house. Once we entered we all seat down on da couch in my office. Tae started rolling up a blunt while Quintin went to my closet to grab 4 wine glasses, 2 bottles of Rum and started pouring some to top of each glass before handing one to each other us. I sighed da only time we all get dis turn up is either we pissed or something bugging us. So I just looked at all dem took a sip of my rum and said "Wassup?"

Dey all looked at Tae to speak first. " Remember dat drop we had with da Memphis gang on da west side? Tae asked Yeah! What bout it? I sent y'all to handle it I had to go to Kam play at school dat day" I said "Well da drop turn out bad my nigga we got jumped and robbed. It was like dey knew who we were and wat we was going to do to dem. I feel like its a snake in da crew telling dem motherfucker every move or plan we make to take dere ass out." Tae said I instantly grew pissed. I stood up grab my gun out from my waist and was finally walk back up front to settle dey asses until D stop me. "How much was it?" I asked pissed off "20 million but listen Von let's just watch and see who slips up. We can't just go kill all dem dats bad for business V man" Derius said calmly I was "Man F-" I was finally say something else but Q rude ass cut me off " V man listen to D. Dem niggas gonna get clumsy who ever it is. Jus wait on it" Quintin said " Dey right Von jus pay close attention to everyone. Somebody is a damn snake ass bitch in here but we gonna bodied dey asses. Jus wait" Tae said looked at da time it was a little after 3. So I nodded in agreement, daps dem up den head out. I might as we go pick up my son from school and stop by taco bell to get something for us to eat tonight before I head home. I left out da trap got in my car in headed to Woshman elementary school.

I pulled up to da school looking for a parking spot. Once I found one I got out lock my doors in head inside to da office. I made it to da office I ain't see nobody in da front so I jus waited. "I'm so sorry how made I help you ma'am" Says a man bout in his mids 30. "It's cool I'm here to pick up Kameron King" I said he nodded in had someone from da office go get him for me. I jus sat down in a chair in waited on him. Few minutes later Kam in running to me with a big smile on his face "Daddyyyyyy" Kam said I smile in pick him up. Dis lil man right here means da world to me I had taken care of him since birth nothing I wouldn't do for him or my wife. We walk to da car I pick him in his boosted seat in buckle him up. I got in and pull off. Headed to taco bell.

Once I pulled up to taco bell I looked at da time it was alil pass four I call Miyah but no answer. "Kam u want taco or pizza?" I asked "Taco daddy" he said "Okay little man" I said "Welcome to taco bell may I take ur order" said da lady on da speaker "Yeah let me get um yo 12 pack box of tacos mixed dem up please" I said "Will dat be all for u sir" I chuckle a little it was kind of funny I ain't know I sound so much like a nigga to her anything other places I go out in order da can tell ima a girl even wen with da way it dress. "Yeah let me get a small and 2 large lemonade light on da ice doe and dat will be all" I said "Okay ur total be 22.05 at da window" she said "Ight cool thanks. I pull up to da window in handle her a 100 dollar bill she handle my drinks in food to me I told her she can keep da change and I left heading home I was a little tired.

I pulled up to my house and park in da driveway. It was a normal but pretty big size 5bedroom, 3baths house. I had money but living in all dese big ass house wasting money on stupid shit wasn't my style. I value my money and got a simple house jus like any other regular people. I took da keys out da ignition got da food and da drinks out as i got out while Kam unbuckled himself and go out. I lock my doors and headed inside.

We walk inside. I shut da door Kamiyah still ain't here or answering her damn fone. I try calling once again but still da same shit. I looked at da time its now a quarter pass 6. Were da fuck is she ain't bruh. " Daddyyy where's mommy? " Kam asked I sighed "I don't know lil man she will be back soon let's eat and watch some TV until she gets here" I said "Okay daddy" he said I handled him 2 soft tacos, da small lemonade cup, and a bag of cheetos puffs from da cabinet while he sat at da table in da living room waiting on me to pick something to watch on TV. I grab 3 hard tacos, one of da large lemonade cup, and a bag of hot cheetos from da cabinet as well, put da rest of da box of food in da drink in da refrigerator, and headed in da living room with Kam. We end up watching a movie on lifetime while we ate our food.

It started getting late I look on my fone to see wat time it was. Noticing it was now 9 clock. Kam was still watching da movie looking a lil try. So I went upstairs run him so warm bath water, got out him some ninjas turtle pajamas, and some green boxer. "Little man come up here in take ur bath time for bed" I said while going in his closet to get his school clothes out for in da morning dat way Kamiyah won't have so much to do in da morning. I grab him so white Chicago's bulls joggers, a red Chicago's bulls jersey, and some white and red Jordan's. I place da outfit on top of his dresser. By da time I was done picking out his outfit for tomorrow he was coming out da bathroom in his night clothes. I tuck him in da bed kiss him on da forehead and started saying my good nights. "Goodnight lil man I love you" I said "Goodnight daddy I love you more" he said I smile and kiss his forehead again before I turn off his light and close da door.

After putting Kam to bed I went into our room in took me a long well needed shower cause I was beyond stress and worried.

20 mins later
I jus step out da shower in wrap a creme color towel around my waist in headed into da room. I looked at da clock on da dresser it is now a quater by 11 clock and no Kamiyah I frown and call 3 more times but no yet again no fucking answer. I shook my head in went to my draw to grab me some night clothes. I put on some grey boxer, grey sports bra, grey Nike's basketball shorts, and my grey Nike's slides on. I went to go check on Kam in see him knock out on his back mouth wide open snoring. I shook my head laughing as I shut his door back in went down stairs to wait on Kamiyah.

I sat on da couch watching TV and jus waiting for her to come home cause I was beyond pissed df off I was enraged.

As I waited I grew more sleepy and pissed but mainly sleepy I stayed up doe I wasn't closing my eyes until she was here.

I sigh looking at my fone its was jus now turning 1 clock in da morning. I show bright as lights in my windows and hear keys in da lock. I sat up on da couch and waited. Kamiyah walks in smiling hard in shit looking all good I wonder wear df she been all dressed df up. When she shut da door and turn around she looked shock her eyes went wide I jus shook my head. "Baby I ain't kno u was sit up" she said trying to walk towards me I sigh not really in da mood for da shit I jus stop her dead in her tracks. "WERE DA FUCK HAS U BEEN I CALLED U OVER 30 FUCKING TIMES AND U DIDNT FUCKING ANSWER I WAS WORRIED BOUT U FEARING DA WORST AND U COULDN'T ANSWER OR TEXT ME TO LET ME KNOW U OKAY OR SOME SHIT!!! I yelled she looked taken aback cause I never gotten dis mad at her before my veins coming out face all red in shit. " I'm sorry baby I was with my sister I lost track off time and I'm sorry I should've answer" she said all calm I jus shook my head " Your food and drink is in da refrigerator good night " I said before heading back up da stairs not listening to a word she gotta say I know her ass is lien I can feel it something ain't right. I lay down in bed and let sleep take over me.
