Sleepless night

Liam dropped me off and I went into my room. I stained at the ceiling for an hour then turned over and closed my eyes. My phone buzzed. I looked at it and it was Mason

Mason: I'm worried about Liam
Haley: why? What happened
Mason: I just got done playing video games with him and I told him I had to study and he begged me to stay. He was acting really weird. I'm worried about him
Haley: yeah I've kind of noticed he's been acting weird. I'll check on him if you want me to
Mason: yeah thanks Haley
Haley: no problem

I texted Liam and asked him he was alright but heard nothing back. I go over to his house and knock on his window. I heard him jump it was so loud. He opened the window and let me in.
"What are you doing here" Liam asked
"Mason texted me. He was worried about you. And so am I" I said
"I'm fine"
"No you're not Liam. I know you. And you know you can tell me anything. Right?"
"Yeah. I know that"
"So why won't you tell me?"
"It's embarrass, Haley. I'm afraid that if I tell you, you'll think different of me"
"Nothing you can say will make me think that"
"Okay. So you know how we were at the hospital and me and Kira went to the roof to check out what was going on?"
"Yeah?"
"Well the berserkers we were fighting. I've been seeing them. Everywhere. In my dreams, in my room, behind me, in front of me. Everywhere. It's freaking me out that I can't even sleep."
"Liam. Everyone is afraid of something."
"What are you afraid of?"
"You"
"Why me?"
"Because I love you"
"I love you, Haley" Liam kissed me and laid me down on his bed.
"Will you stay the night? Maybe I'll be able to sleep if you're with me" Liam asked
"Always" I said

Liam pulled the covers up and let me in. I crawled in and under Liam's arm. I laid my head on his chest. He wrapped his hand around my waist and pulled me closer.
"You wanna watch something?" Liam asked
"What's on?" I asked
"You like friends?"
"I love friends"
"Good because I love friends."
"Who's your favorite?" I asked
"Joey" Liam said
"I love Joey!"
"I think we're the same person" Liam said winking
"I think so too" I said smiling and kissing Liam. It was a different kiss than usual. It was a passionate kiss. You could feel the love. He pulled me close and I wrapped my leg around him. We stopped for a minute, smiling at each other with our foreheads touching.
"I love you, Haley"
"I love you, Liam"
