I can't feel anything.

I lost my emotions long ago.

I used to normal. Until I lost everything.

"Hey Than what's up?" I smiled at my older brother.

"You know what's up, this is the most important part of a future Guardians life. Whether your  approved or not." He frowned at me seriously.

I walked to the man who quickly grabbed Than's hand to tell whether or not he was approved.

"Approved."

I glanced at my brother's unexcited face as he left the area.
He should be happy, but knowing him he'll go emo for a awhile over nothing.

I held out my hand and smiled at the man. He lifted up my small hand and smiled back.

That smiled turned to a frown.

It's been a long time since someone has been denied Guardianship, it wasn't normal unless there was good reason for it.

Like your a murdered or your a terrible person in general.

His face turned extremely distressed, which promptly turned to terror.

"I'm so sorry ma'am but I can absolutely not allow you to be a Guardian..."

The world stopped for me. I have never hurt anyone in my life, and I was a generally nice person...

"But why!?" I pulled away from him almost in tears.

"Your future isn't good in the guardian path.." He frowned at me.

This wasn't happening.

I won't let it.

I won't.

My brother stared at me curiously but he shifted his focus to a man and a woman fighting over something.

They had pins.

"Hey mom do I have to go.." I smiled smokey eyed.

"Absolutely! This is the most important part of Than's life!"

"What about weddings, graduation, and-" Than Counted.

"Your Guardians life Than!" Mom snipped at him.

I rolled my eyes.

The sun started to trickle away behind the car as we sped off to the last ordinary day of my life.

Before I took life's.
