As Worlds Collide: A LaurMau FanFiction

Chapter 3

~Laurance' POV~
For the first time, I actually thought of what's going to happen to me. Well, I obviously need money if I wanna survive here. I should maybe... I don't know... Get a job? Well I'm gonna try it out anyway. But... Where do I even get a job? I'll go ask Vylad. He knows more about this place.

"Hey Vylad, where do I get a job?"
"Come with me. I applied yesterday and got the job. There are a few more slots 'cause the shop just opened. I'm sure you'll get it."

Vylad and I get ready to go to that shop he's been talking about... And... Dang, I don't smell too good. Ugh.

~Aphmau's POV~
"Aphmau~Senpai!"
Kawaii~Chan says knocking on my door. I was just done cleaning up Celestia so I told her to come in.
"What is it Kawaii~Chan?"
"Well... Aphmau~Senpai, can we eat out today?"
"Why? I thought that you said you were making lunch!"
"Uh... Yea... Kawaii~Chan was but then I texted Dante~Kun and then Lunch wasn't looking or smelling too good."
"Well, let's just thank Irene that the house isn't on fire again."
Katelyn walks into my room looking hungry.
"So, when's lunch?"
She asks.
"Katelyn~Sama! You're finally fone with your meditation!"
"Uh... Not really. I just stopped because I was getting hungry."
"About that, We're eating at that new shop that's opened in the city!"
"Why can't we just order Pizza from Reese?"
"Kawaii~Chan tried to make a delivery but the Pizza place was closed today."

Ugh... I'm getting really hungry.

"So Katelyn, Kawaii~Chan, Are we gonna go get lunch or what?"

So we all get in the car and head to that Shop that just opened.

~Laurance' POV~
Vylad and I arrive at the shop and asked the girl at the counter if we could apply. She had dark brown hair, that turned lighter brown as it reached the tips of each strand. She was wearing a white and purple hoodie, purple sneakers, and purple shorts. She looked very lively as she stares at us with her amethyst eyes.

"Perfect!"
Sakura [That's her name] exclaims
"You got the last slot, um... What is your name?"
"It's Laurance."
I say nervously.
"Okay, Laurance. Your shift starts now. Your and Vylad's uniforms are in that room over there."
She says pointing to a room.

I go over to the room she was pointing to and so did Vylad. We wore the uniforms. They had long sleeves and we had to wear red sweater vests over them and also a bowtie. I fixed up my hair and I think I look like a proper Waiter for this place. Then some people came in the shop. Vylad went to go take their orders and told the chef back in the kitchen what they wanted. I guess I'll be serving the food then.

~Aphmau's POV~
The girls ordered and Kawaii~Chan had to go to the bathroom and Katelyn went to wash her hands. I'll just wash my hands later. Then I saw the waiter coming our way with our lunch. He put all the food down and went back in to get our drinks he came back and...

~Laurance' POV~
I was going to give those group of girls their drinks when I tripped on a fork and ...

Splash

I spilled the drinks all over that costumer. Well that was really dumb of me. First day of the job, and I've messed up already. What The Heck is wrong with you, Laurance?! Well now that I've messed up, I won't be surprised if I get fired.

~Aphmau's POV~
Well, it was a good thing I wa wearing a jacket. So I just removed it and only had my tank top on. Shoot I forgot I wore that.

~Laurance' POV~
"I am so sorry! I didn't mean to-"
I said panicking
"It's alright! It was an accident um... Laurance."
She says softly as she reads my name-tag and tries to get up and wipe it off with a table napkin.
