Gajeel x Natsu [Fairy Tail]

As Lucy and Natsu reached the guild they immediately walked over to the request board. Gray snuck up behind them rather subtly and yelled out "hey hot head what is up with you, so quiet did you kiss Happy again?" He laughed and walked up next to them. Natsu blushed lightly and turned away "I didn't kiss any one!" He growled back and got into a fighting stance. Gray's face turned into a wild smirk "think you can beat me, pink hair?!"

Natsu grinned back and threw him self forward, fists blazing. He swung his left hand targeting Gray's stomach "not so tough now droopy eyes!" He laughed. Just as the swing was about to hit. The guild doors opened and a rather sad looking Gajeel entered. Natsu stopped, and Gray landed an ice cold blow to his face. The blow sent Natsu flying across the room, crashing into a table. Lucy gasped and squealed, she was next to Natsu in seconds.

Lucy stroked her hand through the pink hair and kisses his forehead "are you okay Natsu?" She said as she tried to get the dragon slayer to sit up. Lucy looked over at Gray and got up, marching over her blonde hair swayed with her movement. She was growling "what if he is hurt!" Before she could yell anymore the pink haired dragon slayer was at it again. He charged against Gray, fists blazing with dragon flames. Natsue yelling out as Gray got ready to counter, standing up in the fighting chance his hand placed in the other "ICE MAKE!" He chanted and Natsu just swung his fist uncontrollably.

Before he could land a hit or Gray could freeze Natsu. Gajeel stood in between them, he pulled them apart quickly check the whole guild was looking, paying attention to Gajeel's abnormal behavior. Gajeel had a gentle grip on the salamander's wrist and had him pulled behind. Gray just stood there baffled by Gajeel's act and had stopped. He was so baffled that he didn't even notice Juvia sneaking away with his jacket, clinging to it like life depended on it. Gajeel let go and walked back to his table, sat down by Levy and acted like nothing happened.

Lucy was baffled she stood there gaping, and she as a lady could notice when a man saved his lover. The gentle yet firm protective grip around one's wrist. She blushed by her thoughts and murmured silently 'no that can't be, Natsu he doesn't commit... And, and Gajeel is with Levy?'' She mumbled quietly for herself and the blushing grew to anger. She walked over to Natsu and pulled him along "WHAT IS GOING ON WITH YOU AND GAJEEL!" She was furious and she could see in the corner of her eye Levy having a rather heated discussion with Gajeel.

Levy was just reading in her book and talking to Gajeel at the same time, all thought he didn't give much of a response she knew he was listening. 'Jeez I should tell him now, it's a perfect time. Maybe it will get him to think of something else, he seems to be a bit troubled...' She was lost in thoughts as suddenly see Gajeel standing over at Natsu and Gray's fight. She gasped and her eyes widened 'what is going on?!' She closed the book and sat back to wait for him to return. She was going to find out everything!
