Chapter Five

Braden's pov

When I looked over at Jade she had her head against the window and her eyes were closed she must have fallen asleep. I can't believe all that's happened. When I looked up I see the hotel we were staying at. I looked in the rear - view mirror to see John asleep too. I pulled into the parking lot and decided to wake John up first. I got out of the car and opened the left rear door. John looked so cute when he was asleep I started to shake him.
When he woke up he asked me. "Are we here." He said sleepily. "Yeah buddy were here." I walked over to the passengers side and started to wake up Jade.

Jade's pov

Dreams/flashback

"Mom where are you?" I shouted. "In the living room." Came the reply. I walked in the living room to see my mom on the couch watching the five o'clock news. "How was school?" She asked. "It was ok." I told her. "Why were you late for school?" "My stupid locker wouldn't open." I said. "Are you sure that's right?" She asked me. "Because I just got a call sayin' you got into a fight." She yelled. "Don't yell at me it wasn't my fault." I shouted. "Don't tell me what to do." She said. I walked out and went to the kitchen. "Don't walk away from me young lady." She screamed. I grabbed I knife from the block and went back into the living room. "What do you think your doing?" She asked. I started walking towards her. "Stop don't come any closer." She yelled. "Jade. Jade! Jade!" She screamed as I walked closer. I pushed her to the floor and got on top of her I started stabbing her in the chest and stomach. "Jade!"
