Chapter 1

Here I am, 13 year old Jessica- a regular girl who's life hasn't been the best. My time to shine is here and dancing classes have changed my life forever. I'm hoping mum is alone and dad is with rose and joey and- this would make more sense if we go back to the start of this. I am Jessica and this is my story.

I thought this Saturday morning would be any normal Saturday morning. Liam- typical 6 year old- would be up first diving into the biscuit tin and leaving evidence every were. Lacy and me would get up at the same time (I think it's true, twins do think the same) and my mum and dad would get up about 20mins after us. I could tell this wasn't any normal day, lacy was sound asleep and I could hear mum and dad down stairs.
"Jessica, Lacy get downstairs me and your dad need a talk with you." Mum shouted from the bottom of the stairs, Liam running around with Bob the builder pants on his head.
" Nee Naaaaa neeee Naaaaa family meeting peeps!) Liam yelled, running around downstairs. As we came down stairs, I saw three suitcases in front of the door and two boxes on top. I don't think we had any holidays plans or were moving house with the most little amount of moving stuff ever. I turned the corner and mum and dad were sat opposite each other at the kitchen table. Me Liam and lacy sat down all with confused looks on our faces.
" erm mm ermmm well ..... Do you know.... Well it's me a-"mum interrupted very  rudely before dad could finish his sentence.
"For gods sake David, let me tell them, Maybe we can actually get stuff done if I say things." Dad looked defeated, i had always liked dad more than mum.
" Kids there's no simpler way to put this....... Me and your dad are getting a divorce" she just blurted it out. Just like that. Liam thought this is as a perfect time- he got two bedrooms and two birthdays- Lacy looked devastated.
"No. No you can't be splitting up your the perfect couple ." And I, well I wasn't that shocked, one day in the way home from school, I saw her flirting with this posh bloke who looked loaded.
