Two days past and mum decided to forget about all of our argument and lacy apologised to me and told mum it was her fault. We are going to dads in two days and mum is still unsure about us going, I heard her muttering to herself saying that dad's new girlfriend will be really mean and that her son would be really spoiled. I decided to stay out of it as I didn't want to end up grounded again.
"Come on kids we are going shopping now." Most of this week mum has been spoiling us rotten with presents and and shopping gifts because of this split up. They have recently signed the divorce papers but I think it's a bit to early to start thinking about a divorce. Obviously they do not care for one another and we just had to except these massive changes in our lives.
Me, lacy and liam all walked dowmstairs, all getting used to the fact of getting loaded with new gifts. Even this random dodgy guy who we had never met ( AKA mums new boyfriend) had brought us presents. We were going out to the shops and spent our £20 each and had a subway. Trying to eat our tea, mum kept putting us off talking about how bad dad was to Cassandra the cleaner. The bus drive home seemed normal and people didn't give a blink of an eye by seeing a single woman with her kids. I guess it's normal nowadays ! When we arrived home a tall, broad slim figure was waiting at our doorstep. His browny baige sort of coloured suit that made him look very proffessinal and rich. In one hand a gift bag and the other a very smart looking brief case. He looked very posh especially being in this area, which is not a posh area. He stood out like a sore thumb and just stared at our door, looking in.
Mum gave out one of those coughs teachers gives you when you aren't paying attention in class and makes the 'I will wait face'. The weirdo posh man turned around and shouted," hello love, I got here a bit earlier because my meeting finished earlier" WHAT? Love? OMG
