~Maya's POV~

Flashbacks of last night raced swiftly through my mind, though even with the assist of random images running through my head it was hard to pin point exactly what happened last night. It was a friend of Jensyn's who gave me my first beer, I remember that much, but everything after that seemed to melt together in a blurred memory that wasn't making my migraine feel any better by thinking about.

Resting my head against my palm, I squeezed my eyes shut in an attempt to make everything go away. Hangovers are the only thing worse than dealing with the initial pain that brought up the idea of drinking, though once you get through it its hard to remember just how awful it actually is. Jensyn makes fun of me too often on how much of a light weight drinker I am, so while I'm suffering a hangover she's poking jokes at me while she's in a free state of mind.

"You doin' okay over there?" she smirked and I caught it through the corner of my eye.

Lifting my head up from my arm, I felt a rush of pain circle through causing me to shut my eyes tight. I began to shake my head 'no', but when that backfired I voiced a soft, "no."

She laughed, "well we're almost to your house anyways."

I kept my eyes focused on the road in front of us; Jensyn's never been a great driver.

"Yeah, well, I'll still be in a shit load of trouble for sneaking out last night." I breathed out, "and even more for drinking."

"Your dad doesn't have to know about the drinking factor of it all, don't sell it all, My. And who cares if he's pissed? What's he gonna do, ground you?" she chuckled, "you're already home schooled."

I blew out a nervous breath of air I hadn't realized I'd been carrying. "You're right. Him and Justin are leaving for the second leg of the tour today anyways, so it's not like he can really do anything."

"How does that work, anyway? He just leaves you home alone for the four month he's away on tour?" she questioned.

I scoffed, "I wish it was that simple. No, he has our maid stay in one of the guest rooms and she looks after m ue. And for additional security he has his assistant watch over me during the day. And of course on top of that he calls just about every five minutes," I rolled my eyes. "And you know, there's the occasional trips I have to make out to visit him when Justin has a few shows in the same area for a few days. It's complicated, really."

She blew out a breath of air, "Sheesh. Well, enjoy I guess," she chuckled as she pulled up outside my house.

"Oh, fuck," I rubbed at my forehead when I saw my dad come marching out the front door. His face was smoothed over with an angry look, and he had his eyes pointed right at me. He was pissed, and I didn't have the idea I was getting out of this one too easily. "Thanks for the ride, Jens," I sighed. "See you later."

My dad remained standing still on the porch, his arms crossed over his chest with a hard look circling in his eyes.

"Where the hell did you go?" he barked, taking a few steps closer to me in his best attempt to intimidate me. "What do you think this is funny? Leaving during the concert and driving off to who the hell knows where? To have people searching all over the arena for you for hours?"

I cleared my throat, "I didn't say it was funny..."

"Damn right its not funny. It's selfish," he snapped. "And disrespectful of everyone on the crew. Do you have any idea how long we were looking for you? How many extra hours were spent out of their lives? I've had it, Maya, I really have," he shook his head, pacing back and forth. "I don't know what to do anymore to keep you under control and it's driving me crazy leaving you in the responsibility of someone who doesn't know how to contain you. I- I can't leave you here by yourself.."
