"Please don't leave me again." I said as I reached My hand out for My Father to grab, but he didn't, he never did, "Alice, my beautiful daughter, you know I can't, I must stay here." My Father said as tears roll down My face."Dad please...I miss you....Please come back." Everything after that faded to white. I was waking up. I sat up in my bed, with tears on my face. My Father passed when I was only 10. My 14th birthday is in 6 days. All I want for My birthday, is my Father back. But I know that wouldn't happen. My Father and I had a connection that no one could ever have with anyone else. Every time I have that dream.... I wake up crying. I get up and go to the bathroom and wipe the tears off My face. I then get ready for the day, still thinking about that dream. My 8 year-old twin sisters, Sophie and Sophia, run in to my room, I love them to death but they can be a pain from time to time. "Alice, can we play? Please?" Sophie asks with a little baby look. "I have to do homework." Which is a lie because we don't have homework on the weekends. "Awwww boo!" Sophia says looking a very sad. "I'm sorry maybe when I'm done we can play. Okay?" I say with a small smile. "Ok.." They said at the exact same time. They run out of my room, following each other. I try to get on with my day, but all I can think about is that dumb dream! My Mom comes in My room, holding a laundry basket full of clothes. "Alice, honey? Can you go take Bailey on a walk? Please sweetheart?" And I can't say no to my mom when she's busy and has 3 kids AND a dog to take care of. "Sure mom. No problem." I jump out of my bed and get Bailey's leash and doggy bag, and take her out on a walk. Bailey's just a puppy, we got her after we found her on the street alone, she didn't have a collar, so we didn't think she had an owner. We put up flyers and no one claimed her so we took her in as out own. We went to the vet to check for any diseases or anything like that, and luckily, she didn't. Bailey loves walks more than anything, She always wants them, but my moms always busy when My sisters and I, and because my sisters aren't responsible enough yet to walk her, without losing her, so I walk her pretty much all the time. My mom works in a little café down the street and that's enough to get us by. Bailey starts running and I can barely keep up with her. She slowed down, but it was only because of someone that I had ran into, and then I fell.
