The person I ran into was Lucas, my "friend" since second grade, he used to be my best friend till he became a jerk! Okay, maybe I'm over reacting just a little, but that doesn't change the fact that I'm mad at him. When we got into 6th grade, He became popular and started being rude, so we stopped talking and I only see him at school and occasionally when I'm walking Bailey. "Alice? Hey! Long time no see! How ya been?" I can't believe he's talking to be without being rude and stuck up like all the other popular kids. "I've been fine, how about you?" I really didn't care though, I was just being polite, "I've been good, Bailey looks as adorable as ever, How's Sophie and Sophia?" I wanted to just walk away, but, he was being nice to me, so I stayed and talked to him for a while, he even walked me home with Bailey, we arrive at my house and it's already sunset. "It was great to see you again, we should catch up more soon." I'm not as mad at him as before, "We should, sometime." I wasn't lying to he honest, I really meant that. "I gotta get home, I'll see you tomorrow at school, later Alice." I was blushing at this point, and I have no clue why. "Bye Lucas." when he turns around, I immediately go inside my house. My sisters were playing in the living room, and ran over to me, "Can you play now?" Sophie asks me, and I didn't wanna do anything but go to my room, and forget I ever even saw Lucas. "Umm....I have to finish my homework, still." Which again was a lie. "Ok." They both looked up at me upset. And I felt bad for a brief second, and just walked to my room and flopped on my bed. For hours I just sat and thought about everything, I can't believe that Lucas was being a nice person unlike every popular kid at school. I look at my clock, 10:30 PM. It's already 10:30! How long was I in here for? My mom and sisters are probably asleep, so I go to bed to.
5 days till my birthday.
