I tied my Jordan's on my feet and walked to my sisters room she was putting on her shoes too and on her iPhone. I leaned on the door waiting for her to notice me then looked at my watch 7:30am she better leave I don't wanna get stuck in traffic.
"Hey come on Myra were gonna be late your classes start a-" I said before she interrupted me
"8:20 I know." she said coldly and before she grabbed her jacket I guess she was still mad at me from our argument last night.
"Listen I'm sorry... about last night I didn't mean all that stuff" I said sincerely while she walked right passed me bumping into my arm.
"Yeah I know and I don't care" she said while she quickly walked down the stairs.
I followed in suit behind her and grabbed her a breakfast sandwich which she forgot again and my coffee from the counter. I closed the door that lead to the garage after her and entered my car to find her sitting on her phone with her seatbelt on.
"You forgot your breakfast, again" I said while handing her the sandwich
"Thanks but I'm not hungry" she said while grabbing it and setting it on the edge of her knee
"Breakfast is the most important meal of the day I advise you to eat it.... NOW." I said while pushing it towards her
"Fine" She said while taking a big bite and putting in her headphones.
I backed out of the driveway while waving to a couple of my neighbors. I looked at the clock 7:35 I pushed on the gas so I can quickly get on the highway. I turned on the radio to my favorite station Big Boi (honestly I don't know where his radio station is I'm just saying it's in Atlanta okay *author*) he was playing my favorite artist Chris Brown. I took out one of Myra's headphones and started singing along to one of our favorite songs.
"HE'S SO REPLACEABLE, WORTH THE CHASE YOUR PUTTING ON" I sang loudly so she could hear me
"IT'S ALRIGHT I'M NOT DANGEROUS WHEN YOUR MINE I'LL BE GENERIOUS come on sing along!" I said smiling at her
"YOUR IRREPLACEABLE A COLLECTABLE!" she sang back
"JUST LIKE FIIIIINNEE CHINA!" we both sang out loud as the song ended
"You know what you sound Just like Chris Brown" she said while holding both headphones in her hand.
"You really think so?" I said doubting that my voice could ever be so amazing
"NO! You sound like Trey Songs on crack with auto tune!" she said while laughing really hard to her joke.
"You know what your talking to a 4 time talent show winner! I'm better than Chris Brown!" I said while hitting her arm
"Seriously, you do sound like him... if he was to get hit by a car and have his vocal chords ripped right out of his thro-" I pulled to a quick halt.
"You know what ain't no body ask for your opinion on my singing get out of my car we at your school." I said while unlocking her door.
"Alright alright no need to have an attitude bye" She said before she grabbed her book bag and slammed the door.
"Well bye to you too then!" I opened her window and yelled at her which only made her stick up her "peace out fingers or Dueces".
I drove off quickly trying to get back on the Freeway before it got more crowded than it was before.
Myra P.O.V
I walked into my boring high school building taking one last bite of my breakfast sandwich before disposing of it in the garbage can. I walked over to my locker and put up my book bag and grabbed my first hour stuff then I felt my BFF soft smooth hands covering my eyes.
"Guess who?" she said in her quite but excited voice
"Chris Brown with tickets to his show?" I said with a fake higher optimistic tone
"No! I'm not a miracle." I laughed as I turned around to face her. I love my best friend Allison she's thebest! She was the only support I had besides my brother when my parents passed away.
"Come on let's go to first hour! We can walk through the senior hallway again." I said excitedly while rubbing my hands up her arms to get her excited.
"Alright but were going to get some Chris Brown tickets! I was listening to Big Boi on the radio today and he said if you can crack the code and meet him at the location he'll give you free Chris Brown tickets!" she said while jumping up and down
"Okay.. it's not like were gonna crack the code I mean seriously those radio contest are nearly impossible to win." I said hopefully bringing her back to reality.
"We'll your best friend and hero cracked the code" she said while smiling proudly
"Yeah right then what is it?" I asked knowing that it's going to be some ridiculous place
"Taco Bell" She said while smiling proudly. And I was right just some ridiculous place
"So you want me to break my curfu and go to Taco Bell to get my tickets to see Chris Brown?"
"Yessss because it's front row and you also have to show him the paper you figured it out on" she said while pulling me along to first period
"I'll think it through but if it doesn't work out your getting grounded right along with me" I said while we entered home room.
"Oh trust me were getting the tickets" She said while she sat in her seat across from me.
"It better and your lucky I love Chris Brown" I said before I sat down in my seat turning my attention towards are teacher.
