Author's Note: Hello to all of you in computer land, it is I, Fortune_Dragon! I would like to apologize for how long this update took to get out, I had some writers block and became very busy with life, but I assure you all that I will try harder to update this more. I hope you all enjoy.
Disclaimer: I do not own One Piece or any of it's characters. The only thing in this story that is mine is my OC Lady Luck
Un's POV.
"Night watch?" I asked the talking skeleton in front of me. It had been about three days since I had joined the Straw Hat Pirates and I must say, it was quiet enjoyable.
"Yes, night watch," Brook said. He came into the girl's bunk right as I was falling asleep and told me I had night watch with him.
"Alright, just let me get dressed first," I told the skeleton, shooing him out of the room. After he left I rolled my ass out of bed and walked over to the trunk were I held my clothes. I only had one pair for the time being because the rest of my clothes burned with my casino, and we hadn't made port anywhere so I really haven't had any opportunity to buy new ones. I pulled my short sleeved white button up shirt on over the tank top I wore to bed and buttoned up all the buttons, then I slipped on my thin black tail coat on and placed my white gloves on. Next I slipped on my black shorts on and put on my black high heel shoes. To finish it all up, I put my black bow tie on and grabbed my hammer and I was out the door. It probably would have been faster to teleport out on deck but the Sunny was just so beautiful I loved to look at it. I was very impressed with the ship, it really was a masterpiece. The fact that not everyone had to share two rooms was a real step in the right direction. Most ships didn't have such a large library either, and I do love to read. Best of all, the deck was grass! I love it!
"Hello Lady Luck!" I heard the skeleton cry as I walked onto the beautiful grass deck.
"Hello Brook, and you can just call me Un," I told him, taking the seat next to him by the rail.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" asked Brook.
"Yes, very much so," I told him, looking out on the beautiful wonder that is the sea.
"Do you mind if I ask you some questions?" The musician asked me. I saw the violin next to him and got an idea.
"Only if you play a little music," I told him, wanting to hear him play for a long time, I've only heard a little.
"I guess that's a fair trade," he said and started playing his heavenly music.
"This is amazing, Brook! We never had music at the Wandering Luck because of all the people talking," I explained, enjoying the subtle beauty of his violin.
"I'm glad you like it, now may I ask you some questions?" Brook asked.
"Of course, ask away," I said.
"Ok, how old are you?" he asked.
"18," I said plainly.
"Really?! You are very young to have run such a successful business!" Brook exclaimed surprised. Which didn't surprise me, that was the same response everyone had to my age, but I don't look that old.
"Luffy's pretty young to have such a large bounty, being only 16," I said.
"True, ok next question. Why did you open your casino?" Brook asked, catching my attention.
"To make people happy. As a child, I always hated people being sad, so I tried to make them happy, and than they would give me attention, which eventually turned into me loving attention, but still wanting to make them happy. So when I started my casino, it was all under the concept of making people happy, and I loved the attention," I told him.
"Interesting, what is it that you know about Luffy and Robin?" He asked, so they told him.
"Well that's an interesting question, and the answer is the same one I told them, I honestly can't remember, but I remember it was something their parents wanted them to know, but awhile ago, I met a man who stole my memories about them, and to make it worse, I can't remember who stole my memories so I can't even go after them," I told him.
"Don't worry, we'll find the man who stole your memories and we will get them back of its the last thing I do!" he exclaimed.
"Thank you but it's not that big of a deal," I stated, trying to calm down the very riled up skeleton.
"But that isn't the case! Your memories are what make you who you are!" shouted Brook standing up, the music he was playing coming to a screeching halt.
"Brook, please stop, please," I pleaded with him, I didn't want to be reminded that I couldn't be reminded of things from my past.
"Oh my, I'm so sorry." Brook said sitting down. I think he saw that I was very uncomfortable with all this.
"It's fine, do you have any other questions?" I asked.
"Why yes..." started Brook before he was interrupted by a loud bang, cannon fire.
"We've got company!" I yelled, grabbing my hammer. I teleported up to the crow's nest to get a better view
"Where is it coming from?!" Brook asked, sword in hand.
"That way!" I cried, pointing into the distance.
"Where?!" He cried.
"Give me a second!" I told the skeleton.
"A second for WHAAAAAAAAAT!" cried Brook as I teleported down to him and grabbed him, then teleported to the ship that was shooting at us.
"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" cried Brook, surprised by suddenly being teleported.
"Shhhhh, they haven't noticed us yet," I whispered to the skeleton, which caused him to instantly hide next to me.
"Is this a marine ship?" asked Brook, looking around at the ship, which for the most part, was pretty empty.
"No, I've seen many a navy ship in my time at the casino, and none of them are this dark looking, maybe they're bounty hunters," I stated.
"Let's attack!" stated Brook, drawing his sword.
"Let's do it, before they rip The Sunny apart!" I cried, grabbing my hammer and charging out of our hiding place along with Brook.
Than everything went black.
