It was so refreshing, feeling the wind against my face as I ran through the trees. It felt like I didn't have a care in the world. Beating Lilly was a huge accomplishment. I mean, I knew I could do it. But to win so quickly and easily. I should have battled someone or something harder. As I ran faster and faster I ran into the Light Destroyer.
"Perfect..." I breathed. Something that was a challenge. I ran to it's side. I jumped up and stabbed it's side. One hit kill.
"Nice skills you got there." I jumped up. I wasn't used to people sneaking up on me. A boy that looked about my age jumps down from a tree. He is holding a violet colored sword.
"Who are you?" I asked while holding up my sword.
"Woah, woah. Calm down! I won't hurt you. I go by Dylan." He dug his sword into the ground. I looked at him suspiciously.
"Okay... and why should I trust you?" He turned around. "I don't know. If you feel like it, kill me right here, right now." I put my sword into it's sheath.
"Alright Dylan. I'm Sky. And if you even TRY to lay a finger on me, I will kill you. I'm not scared of you." Dylan let out a little laugh.
"I wouldn't think of it." He said seriously. Was this his way of making people trust him? He had brown hair and golden eyes.
"It's getting late. I better go." I said. I ran towards the cliffs. It's where I always went when I needed some solitude. I sat on the edge of the cliff watching the sun set. About 15 minutes later, Gabe found me on the edge.
"Sky! You scared me when you didn't come back. What were you doing?! Rolling in the flowers?!"
I rolled my eyes. "You know you like to come here. This is where you first found me and you confessed that you loved me. I rejected you." I started to laugh. I could practically FEEL him turning beet red behind me.
"You know I still do, Sky." Gabe said shakily. I stood up.
"I know. But I don't have time for love. I have time to fight. And survive." I said. The thing is, though, I need someone to live for. I thought.
