"See you tomorrow, Sky!" I yelled.
"Cya Gabe! Remember that you still owe me a sandwich from the deli!" Sky laughed as she ran into her house. I sighed and remembered that I still needed to collect more Asun meat if I was going to have soup tonight. (An Asun is just like a rabbit.) I walked towards the Shadow Forest quickly. I heard footsteps. I took out my axe, ready to charge. I waited for a few seconds before running out of my hiding place.
"Huh?" I said aloud. I saw a guy walking around near this cave. He looked about my age, and he had brown hair. I must have heard HIS footsteps, not an Asun. He noticed me and he looked strikingly familiar.
"Uh... hey." I said.
"Hi." He yelled back. He walked in the cave and shut the door. Yes, this cave has a door. I think I saw him hanging with Sky earlier. I think his name was... Dylan. I shrugged and figured it must have been Dylan looking for food to hunt. I was pretty tired, so I headed back to my place to get some rest for the next day. I had this weird feeling that if I stayed out any longer, I was going to get hurt. Or my friends would. Either way I wasn't going to let it happen. I would do anything for my friends. Anything.
