Saving him pt 1

I watched hopelessly as my brother and friend got dragged, most likely unconscious. I stay for a couple of minutes because the clock is ticking down fast. I have never felt so lonely. Sure I was alone in the underworld but that's different because I knew he would come anytime but now he may not come at all. I know I will encounter terrible monsters but what's worse is that I'm not trained but I do have the blessing of Artemis to never miss. I head on to where I saw that snake take my brother. I have...wait nope I have nothing, Nico has the ambrosia and nectar in his pocket. I have to be extra careful now because if I get hurt I may see my end as in I won't exist in either world, under or above. I head towards the darkness. At every sound I draw an arrow and get in position. If I hadn't been a hunter I probably would have run out of arrows because I shot a ton.
     I have been going for miles now with nothing to help, I mean its not like in the world above, you don't go around saying Oh hi Mr. Monster I'm wondering where is... and can you help me I'm not from here. I've encountered a couple of little monsters. 3 baby hellhounds came in my direction. I knocked an arrow straight in its nose. It was sort of hard because they came from all derections.

I did this for a while until I only had one left. This was going to be easy. I drew three arrows pull the string and I felt time freeze. You may think draw the arrow and let go but thats not what I think. The target is you, you are everything and you need to let a part go. I take my time and when I'm sure I release. All three arrows hit the target, my target. The pup is soon another pile of dust. I keep walking and I still haven't seen another monster. I have a gut feeling that something way worse than 3 full-grown hellhounds (which are hard to handle) is coming my way.

I wake up and find that I'm tied up in something, I think they're ropes, but it's really dark so I can't tell. "Awake sssso early young one?" said a raspy voice. Suddenly all the memories came back. Bianca falling, Erebus, monsters and me being taken by Echidna. My eyes started to adjust to the dark what I saw would have traumatized a mortal because I recognized it as a place I never wanted to return to, a place where darkness lurks and the only light is from my blade. Now I know what you're thinking stagnian iron can't glow but it can, its very faint though and sometimes I wish I carried two weapons [my stagnian sword and a celestial bronze dagger for light].

After a while of roaming around a thought came to my head. Why is the river here again? I was noticing that the light wasn't coming from me anymore but from the Phlegethon river and everything was red and I realized that what I was walking on looked like a body times a thousand in size. "Oh father please don't tell me Nico's where I think he is and if he is well please make sure I'm not too late" I prayed. I was exhausted after the empousa I faced. She managed to scratch me on my leg.
      I knew better than to sleep but I had to, I was closing my eyes but a heard a voice in my head. 'Not yet you must stay awake for danger is great here'. I stayed awake because I have learned to trust it. That was the same voice that told me to go to the giant while I was on my quest, sure I died but he said that it would save the rest and it did. When I made it to the forest there where these monsters that were circling me, it took me a second to realize that they were Arae "You don't want to hurt us for if you do you'll be cursed by every monster you killed." Jokes on you I never killed when I lived...Shoot I killed so many today. I'm toast. Instead I put my weapon back and thought. Well you can't kill them so i can.....outsmart them.
"Hey I'm trying to help, haven't y'all heard? Gaea sent me to kill a demigod. Don't tell me she kicked you out because she gathered every monster she wants to her speech." I was sweating but I guess it wasn't unusual for them because its hot here. They gathered together and I started to walk past them but...."Girl," This is it I'm sorry Nico that I never came. Negative thoughts surrounded me. " What did she say in the...speech"
"I can't say" I said plainly
"We can make a deal"
I sat and thought. I can ask her for Nico!!!
"Fine I'll hear you out"
"You give is the information we spare you."
"Nope, and anyways you have to spare me or Gaea will make sure you stay dead for a millennia!" That got a couple of uneasy looks so my plan was working. "Fine what do you want?"
"Give me directions to Nico Di Angelo."
"Okay"
"Swear on the river Styx that you wont give me false infirmation or I swear you'll wish you never met me." I said in a harsh tone.
"He's in the Grand Palace. Its where all the palaces connect. Pretty scary place for any demigod." they advised. "Okay we said our information lets hear yours"
"She said to go build her a palace."
"She already has one" one snarled
"A new one thats really big. She decided that she will keep the olympians a place but they will never escape and she wants them to be her entertainment."
"Makes sense, now carry on" I don't know how I came up with that and they didn't notice. Great news though, I can find Nico.

I heard voices and I didn't want them to know that I was awake so I went 'limp'. "The girl should be coming in two weeksss if not she isss mossst likely dead." said a voice that I believe belongs to Echidna. The girl must be my sister which means we are in trouble. I want to wake up and see that this is all a nightmare. Sadly I know that its true. I felt that I was being carried and I opened my eyes slightly. Echidna was walking (or whatever snakes do) towards palace no wait three. They were all connected. I closed my eyes because legend says that if you look that you will most likely lose your sanity in other words I'll go mad.
