~Chapter 5~: "Her savior"

Alexander's POV. Warning, he likes to curse alot.

Man she's so fucking strange. But I'm not stupid either, so I waited until she was far enough away to follow her. I may be stubborn, but I have a heart when it comes to the welfare of others. Although I don't like to show my caring side a lot, kindness leads to people taking advantage, so I cover it with a hard shell. Anyways, it took around fifteen minutes but I made it to what seemed to be her apartment. This pile of rubble was where she lives..? I get that the world has been a mess since the demon attack but damn, really? There's better places than this....whatever I guess. I then start to enter the building and have no problem finding her apartment, the energy of at least six different demons at once was pouring out of it. But, the problem is that they're feeding off of her fear, and were getting stronger by the minute. If I didn't do something soon, she'd die.

I sigh, getting pissed off at the situation as my eyes turned blue, without thinking I rushed into her apartment, the demons surrounded her as she held a knife to her throat with tears running down her face. For some reason, it angered me even more to see her cry, the demons turned to me and jumped towards me ready to attack. In the blink of an eye I purified, burned, and ripped out the hearts of the five demons that tried to come near me. I'll admit, that was one bloody fucking fight, but damn it got my blood pumping! There aren't a lot of times where I get to enjoy pounding people into a pulp like I used to. Ha, lets just say I was the bully who'd take your lunch money back when schools were still around. 

Anyways, I walked over to the girl from earlier. She didn't exactly leave me with her name, so "the girl from earlier" would have to do. She had put the knife down and was looking at me surprised, fear sparkled in her eyes. Once again I sighed and stopped a few feet away from her so I wouldn't scare her, her voice slightly cracked as she spoke up to ask me. 

"W...w-what exactly are y-you?"

For a moment I had to stop and think about it before I said. 

"I'm that one guy who you DIDN'T want to piss off in school. Now c'mon, lets get out of this hell hole."

My eyes turned back to their regular purple colors and I gave her a soft smile. She started too relax, and then reached out to grab my hand, but then suddenly pulled back as she screamed.

"Watch out!!"

I didn't get to turn around to see what she was talking about before something knocked me hard in the head, and I fell over as everything....went....black....
