My Heart Started and Stopped With You

3. The night outside

I heard a strange noise coming from outside the shed. I couldn't make out what it was. It kind of sounded like talking, well more yelling and then I heard a door slam. Cassie and Sebastian were still asleep and I was hoping that I had been hearing things. The door to the shed swung open and all I saw was a dark shape in the night.

"Sebastian! Come on I'm taking you with me!" it was his dad and all I could think was 'please, please go away and leave us alone'. He tried to grab him and by this moment we all were wide awake. I wanted to fine something to hit him with and to make him go away but it was too dark to find anything. He grabbed him by the arm and started walking while dragging Sebastian along. Sebastian tried to get free and Cassie and I tried to help get him away that man.

I ran up to them and started hitting him trying to get Sebastian free but I got pushed down to the ground. While I was being pushed down Cassie stood there, just stood. It looked like she was frozen in fear. I tried to get up but he shoved me back down. I hit my head on the ground heard to where my vision was blurred and all I could see was a tall dark figure. It looked like he was holding on so tight to Sebastian's arm but I wasn't sure what was going on at that point. I blacked out for what seemed like a couple seconds.

When I woke back up I was in on Sebastian couch and the sun was up. I looked around, with my still a little blurred vision and hoped that him and Cassie where alright. I tried to get up but a hand cam out of no where and a small calm voice said, "Don't move, you hit your head really hard." it was Sebastian. I looked at him for what seemed like hours but in all reality it was only a couple seconds. Then I gave him the biggest and longest hug I had ever given anyone in my life.

"So how long as I out?" I asked hoping he would say not long

"Well," he paused " for about seven hours."

"What! Why didn't anyone wake me up or something?!" I yelled trying to sit up, but my mom ran into the room.

"No, no you need to stay right here. You had hit your head really, really hard." she said. So I laid back down trying to remember what had happened last night. All I could remember was us sitting in the shed, a dark figure and then darkness.

After we talked for what seemed like a couple hours, he asked me if I wanted food or anything to drink.

"Um sure why not." I told him

"Okay what do you want, we have some leftover pizza, cereal, I think we have stuff to make a PB and J,"

"Whatever's fine." I tell him and then he went to get some food. He came back with as much food as he could carry. All I couldn't help but laugh.

"Hey what's so funny!?"

"Nothing, just nothing." I say through the laughs.

So after Sebastian and I ate what ever sounded good in the pile of food he brought out. We sat there talked and continued to eat, that's all we did for the longest time and we were both happy.
