Jessica Lindon broke into a sprint as soon as she heard footsteps besides her own. She'd been hearing rumors about teens going missing and did not want to join the list. Afterall, there were only two weeks until prom and she had already bought her dress. She couldn't see where the sidewalk ended considering the darkness, so she immediately smacked onto the pavement. As she pushed herself up she felt a swift breeze. Her scream was immediately silenced and all that was left was the white noise of the night.
