I hope the story wouldn't be too boring! (especially the first part) This is my first non-fanfic story, hope I didn't do badly >.<

“Again?” Mike sighs exasperatedly. “Looks this secret admirer is serious about you Aaron.”
Aaron kept silent and looked at the white box on his table. He already knew what would be inside that white box, chocolates.
This had begun since Valentine’s Day last week. Ever since that day, a white box containing chocolates would appear at his table. It was just plain creepy.
He had asked his classmates if they knew who placed it there but to no avail. No one knows who placed it there.
Mike, his best friend, had taken a first taste of the chocolates. He moaned in pure bliss, and stared wide eye at the box of chocolates. “Oh God, how can chocolates be so heavenly?” If Aaron wasn’t there to stop him, he would have finished the 12 pieces of chocolates all by himself.
Aaron had been skeptical at first, how can a mere chocolate put such an expression on a person’s face?
All of his doubt was washed away when he had taken his first bite if the chocolate. It was just heavenly! The chocolate simply melting in his mouth, it was so smooth and it was not too sweet either.
Aaron isn’t a big fan of sweets but he had fallen in love with this box of chocolates. It was because this, that he had not dumped the box of chocolates in the nearest bins when he saw it on his table the next day and the following day.
“Hey, why don’t you come to school early tomorrow, so that you catch the ‘culprit’?” Mike asked.
Aaron nodded. He wanted to know who had placed the box of chocolates on his desk.
-The next day-
Aaron woke up with a groan and off the darn ringing alarm clock. He went to shower after picking out a white top and a pair of jeans.
He went down to the kitchen to see his sleepy mom coming out of her room.
“Morning mom,” Aaron smiled widely.
His mom almost had a heart attack and rubbed her eyes repeatedly. “Aaron sweetie, is that you? Oh my, I thought I would never see a day which you would wake up earlier than me,” Mrs. Hammington said.
Aaron chuckles and said, “Yes, mom. It is me. I wanted to go to school early today so that I catch the mysterious person.”
Mrs. Hammington blinked at Aaron before realizing who the mysterious person refers to.
“I hope you would! I can’t wait to see who had made those delicious chocolates!” She said, smiling at Aaron.
Aaron decided to walk to school since his school is only a 15 minute walk away.
He hesitated just outside his classroom, not knowing what to expect. He took a few deep breathes to calm his nerves and plucking up his courage to open the classroom door.
The person he saw at the desk was the person he had secretly hoped that had placed the boxes of chocolates on his desk. His deep sea blue eyes met pure hazel eyes that were just as shocked.
Aaron wasn’t expecting Daniel Hasington to be the one who had placed the boxes of chocolates on his desk. True enough, he saw a box of chocolates in Daniel’s hands. The same white box with a red ribbon on tied on it.
He panicked when Daniel started to turn around and running towards the back door. “Wait!” he shouted at the quickly retreating figure. Surprisingly, Daniel did stop but he did not turn around.
Daniel stood rooted at that spot, not daring to move. His heart was pounding madly; he was just caught red-handed sending chocolates by the very person he doesn’t want to be caught by. He did not want to see the disgust –that he was certain- visible on Aaron’s face.
The whole school knows that Aaron was straight; he was the guy that every girl wants to lay their hands on. He had a well-built body, a face that will melt every girl’s heart and a cheerful and friendly character. The perfect guy that will never be mine, Daniel thought wistfully.
“Daniel?” Aaron called out softly, not wanting to scare the said person.
Daniel was shocked. How did he know my name? He whirled around to face Aaron, shock evident on his face.
Aaron saw the shock and silent question on Daniel’s face. He swallowed and licked his suddenly dry lips. “Can we talk?” Aaron asked softly.
He saw Daniel thought about before nodding his head slowly and making his way towards the seat nearing to the door. Fortunately, for both of them, the classroom was empty because it was still early.
Aaron dragged a chair to seat in front of Daniel yet keeping some space between them. He cleared his throat.
“I know this is hard to believe but I have always noticed you.” Aaron began and saw disbelieve on Daniel’s face. “I started noticing you during lunch; you have always brought packed lunch to school. I was intrigued at first. Very few people would actually bring packed lunch to school these days. I know it’s weird but I looked forward to seeing what type of dishes you bring every day. After some time, I started to find you in every class and every room. I would feel disappointed when I didn’t see you and I would feel elated when I do see you in the same class or room.” When Aaron had been saying all these, he was looking at his clenched hands on the desk, in front him. He took a deep breath before continuing, “It was at this point in time that I noticed that I like you.”
Aaron’s heart was thumping and he felt heat rushing to his face. He had never felt this nervous in his whole life. He stole a quick glance at Daniel to see how he is taking all this. He was alarmed to see tears running free down Daniel’s beautiful hazel eyes.
“Daniel, don’t cry. Please don’t cry.” He did not know what to do, but he does not want Daniel to cry. Daniel’s crying face made his heart ached and he did the only thing he knew, he stood up and pulled Daniel into his embrace.
“Aaron, I love you too!” Daniel reached out to hug Aaron’s trimmed waist tightly and buried his face into Aaron’s warm chest, his tears forgotten.
“I can’t believe you would return my feelings,” Daniel said softly, gazing into Aaron’s deep sea blue eyes and caressing his cheek.
Aaron smiled lovingly at Daniel and kissed Daniel’s palm before kissing him fully on the mouth.
Aaron pulled back, drawing a soft whine of disappointment from Daniel.
“If it wasn’t for your box of chocolates, we would not have today. Thank you my love,” Aaron said, looking into Daniel’s soft hazel eyes.
“My pleasure,” Daniel said before pulling Aaron’s face down for another kiss.
The End
