Leave Me or Your Future?

"David, I need your help. When was the last time you have seen Killian?"

"Emma, I don't know. The last time I saw him was when we returned to Storybrooke."

Emma was talking to David at the police station that afternoon when he came back from lunch break. She was in her office, hands resting at the end of her desk. David was standing in front of her desk, hands on her hips. She was looking down, very annoyed she wasn't getting answers about her boyfriend.

She sighs before she moves her head up, looking at her father. "He has been missing for two days and I'm getting worried about him."

"This hasn't been right. He definitely shouldn't avoid us now, especially when we just came back from the Underworld." David said nonchalantly.

"I don't get this. Killian just left me and he never told me the reason why, and I want to find out so bad. I thought he loved me." said Emma, whispering the last sentence.

The last sentence tore her heart up into shreds. If he truly did love her, why in the world leaving her right when they came back from the Underworld.

"Killian does love you, he is probably just need to relax and be at peace after all of those events of being the Dark One." David thought.

Emma just shakes her head. She sighs as she release her hands away from the desk and crosses her arms.

"You go home David. I know you just got out of break, but I want to find Killian myself. You go home and take care of Mary and Neal." She suggested to him.

David immediately has a concern look on his face. "Whoa Emma. Are you sure about that?"

Emma nods, her eyes filled with determine to find her boyfriend. "Yes, I want to know myself why he is doing this to himself."

David walks over and kisses his daughter's temple. When he pulls away, he looks deeply into her eyes. "Be safe. Killian is going to be fine when you found him. I love you." He says so softly to her.

"Love you too dad." Emma said, looking up at David and smiling at him.

David smiles at her before he left the office and grab his jacket from his desk and leave the station. Emma sits back down on the chair and looks at the picture in front of her. It was a pic of her and Killian from their date. She loved the picture so much it reminds her how much she loves him.

The first time Killian actually did tried to leave her was when they got back from Neverland. Emma was so furious when she find him on his ship with a magic bean in his hand. She was so angry she actually shoved him hard twice it made him fall onto the floor. The reason why he was leaving her was to let her and Henry have peace with Neal. He told Neal that night that he'll back away from her. He also told her he wanted to be back as a pirate, but he couldn't. His love for Emma made him completely change. She told him she didn't love Neal no more and that she trusted Killian more than her ex boyfriend. She promised to him to not leave, and he kept that promise.

Now, he is missing once again and it was breaking her heart.

Her cell phone ringing made her get out of her thoughts. She immediately grabs it and looks at the screen in front of her. Somehow it shows David's name.

She knits her eyebrows together as she looks at the screen in front of her. Why would David call on her now? He just left the station not too long ago. Was something wrong? Was he wanting to check on his daughter to make sure she doesn't need anything?

She answers his call and puts her phone up in her ear. "Hey David."

"Emma, get in the town line now." He immediately saids onto the phone. "I think you know the reason why."
