His name was Sam and he was perfect in my eyes. We met in grade school sitting next to each other in the cafteria and ever since have been inseparable.
Sam was different from any guy in our age group. He was sweet, romantic and his smile was so contagious you just wanted to smile too. I had a crush on him since we were kids and Even at a young age I knew he was the one . He would always mention jasmine im your knight in shining armour and you are my beautiful princess and I will save you from the world. Then one day I told sam we were going to get married and the next day he brought some ring pops and our moms married us in the backyard. That was the most magical moment in my life, I really believed I was a princess that day.
I should have listened to my mom when she said life is not a fairytale. I was young and naive and thought that the world was perfect if i had sam with me. Then sam left me and my whole world came crumbling down. At the age of 17 sam died in a car crash and it was all my fault. I was the one that told him to come pick me up. I should have told him to stay home. I was stubborn and wouldnt listen to my consicious saying it was dangerous with the snow. Now im lost without my sam, my soulmate.
