Chapter 8

I was home alone in Xavier's house and I had to get ready to meet my sister. I took a quick shower and threw on a pair of jeans, a kiss band tee and my new docs.

I met my sister, Jess, in the café. She was acting really strange because she hasn't seen me since i left. "So how has life been? Are you ok? Do you have a place to stay? Im always available if you need me." She rambled on and on. "Jess I'm fine." I stopped her before she could ask another question. "I met someone who not only saved my life but cared for me more than dad ever would have." "Really? Thats great. Tell me about them." She sounded surprised. "His name is—" i was interrupted. "His... name, its a guy?" She said with this amazed look on her face. " yeah, his name is Xavier. He stopped me from doing anything stupid. He let me sleep at his house and he bought me clothes and shoes." "Aweeee cuteeee!" Jess said. "Not only that, later that day he took me to this peer and sat me down, he asked me out! We went on this romantic date at the restaurant on the peer, it was so cute." I fangirled to myself. "He's a keeper Skylyn" Jess said with a look of certainty on her face. "Thanks, I feel it too." I replied. We finished up our coffees and i headed home.

I got home and put a movie on. Soon after i fell asleep on the couch.
