After The Fire

Ally's P.O.V

I woke up with a massive hangover. Last night was a blur. Everything was confusing. The clock read 1:32 P.M

I began to get up and quickly held on to the dresser, before I lost my balance. I had to stand there holding on to the dresser for a while. I was still waiting for my eyesight to become clearer.

Once I could see clearly I began to make my way to the kitchen. I heard the blender on. "Good morning Ally." Jay said pouring a drink and handing it to me.

"What's this?" I asked starting to inspect the drink. "It's for your hangover. It'll make you feel better. But uh you might wanna hold your nose while you drink that...."

I took a whiff of the drink and understood what he was saying. I held my nose and started to swallow it slowly.

The drink itself wasn't so bad. The after taste was the horrifying part. It almost made me gag.

Jay must have saw the face I made cause he told me to suck it up and finish the drink.

"Where's Rose? " I hadnt remembered seeing her in our room.

"She's in the lobby. She'll be back soon." Jay told me.

"Wait.. How long has everyone been awake?" It was odd for Rose to be awake before me.

"About 2 hours or so."

Jay seemed a little jumpy today... My eyes roamed the room and finally rested on Rose's flask.

The memories from the previous night rushed back to my head.

"Jay. Is Mat ok?" I asked worriedly. He nodded slightly and then shrugged. " He had no business getting involved with Blake."

I slightly agreed with Jay but I was still worried about Mat. If what I remembered was right, then Mat got beaten pretty bad... Not like Blake got didn't get hurt. I actually think Blake's injuries are far more serious than Mats.

Rose entered the room and sat down next to me on the stool. She placed the cars keys on the counter and sighed. "What's wrong?" She seemed shocked and at the same time disappointed.

"Blake's in the hospital. I just got back from there."

My eyes grew wide. "Oh my gosh! Is he okay? What did the doctor say?"

Another sigh escaped Rose's lips. "He fractured a rib. His lips swelling and he has a black eye..." She told me.

"Mat did that to him?" I was so shocked. Rose just nodded.

"And how's Mat doing?" She asked while playing with her keychain. "He's just sore, that's all." Jay told her.

Rose just nodded. " So, Ally you were pretty trashed last night huh?" She said while giggling. " Ha ha very funny. But should the hypocrite be talking? "

"Ya whatever. But you were totally worst than me Al." "Pshh. I was not."" I protested. " Haha... Ya you were." Jay said chuckling.

I rolled my eyes. " Shut up." I quickly replied.

My body felt stiff. I looked down to see that I still had my dress on from the other night.

I took a wiff of my dress. I smelled like alcohol. " Im gonna go take a shower now."

I went over to my room and stepped in the shower. I heard the door bell ring two times.

I was seriously getting annoyed now. They haven't let us spend one day by ourselfs. It was ridiculous.

After I washed my hair I dried of and put on my white shorts and orange tang top,then washed of the makeup from last night.

I wrapped my hair in a towel and went to the living room. "Hi."I said waving to both Kathren and Isabel.

I didn't wait for a response. I knew there wouldn't be one. I was used to it.

Isabel was viscously tapping away on her pink I-phone. "Is Mat still in bed?" I asked Jay.

"I'm not sure why don't you go check."

I entered his room.

He was laying on his bed with his laptop. He was completely dressed. "Did you take a shower, get dressed, then get back into bed?"

He chuckled. " Ya. Hey..is um Kathren here?"

I nodded. He started to groan.

I laughed. " What are you looking at?"

I walked over to his bed and sat next to him.

There was a picture on the left of the screen of Blake. His status read " In a relationship ".

"So your stalking him now?" I teased. "Look at this Al." He said pointing to the screen. " He's in a relationship. I gotta warn Rose. "

He closed his laptop and we both went over to the living room. "Finally! Your up! We have a lot to talk about." Kathren started to grab his arm. "Hold on." He walked over to Rose.

Rose's P.O.V

"Hey Rose. Can we talk?"

" Ya sure. What is it?" I obviously wasn't in the mood for him. "Blake has a girlfriend." He finally said.

I froze. He pulled out his phone and showed me Blake's status.

I finally relaxed. I sighed in relief. " Ya I know. " I told him. He looked confused. " And your ok with this?" He asked still puzzled.

" Blake's girlfriend, is me." I told him. Mat didn't reply. He started to walk away.
