Adopting Maddison

No food for the day

It was lunch at school and Maddy made another new friend called Riley, Gabby and Kelly weren't in all day because they where at a netball match with another school, so it was just Maddy, Alisha, Sally and Riley.
"So how come your not eating?" Alisha asked.
"I'm not hungry.."
"Really?" Asked Sally
"Ye......."
"If we have done anything to upset you, ya know you can always tell us!" Said Riley
"Scarlet said I was fat and that Elliot didn't like the fact that I was fat, but it's not because of that, I'm just not hungry!"
At this rate Alisha, Riley and Sally were getting really worried about her but the believed her and it was there own choice so they couldn't force her.
"Maddy, you know that your not fat, she's just saying that to make ya feel bad!"
"Ye, I know, I'll just ignore her!" Maddy replied quietly
When she got home it was her daily routine, but she doesn't go ice skating on a Monday, so it was just homework, homework and homework.
"How was your day at school" Dec asked
"Ok, it was a normal day, with lots of homework, again!" Maddy replied
"Your face has gone a bit pail, you ok? Have you eaten your lunch?"
"I'm ok, and I wasn't hungry so I didn't eat."
"Maddison, just because your not hungry doesn't mean you don't eat anything! Did you at least have a little snack at brake?"
During this talk with her dad, she wasn't really paying attention. She was putting her bag away and getting out her homework.
"No."
"Mads( new nick name for Maddy from Her Dad and Da.)"
"Whattttt!!!"
"Come and sit here, I'm going to get you something to eat, what would you like to eat?"
"Nothing."
"Maddy!"
"Fine, I'll just grab a sandwich!"
"Thanks, you know I'm just looking after your health."
"I know!"
"And have your tablets as well!"
Soon Ant arrived home from the supermarket.
"Anth, I need to have a word with you." Asked Dec
"Ye sure let, what's wrong?"
"It's Maddy, she not eating at all, and I'm getting worried about her like!"
"Maybe she just having that day where she is not hungry, it's nothing serious pet."
"Ye but her face is really pale and she is hardly talking, what if something happened to her at school!"
"Well, I'll go and talk to her."
"I made her eat when she didn't want to, I'm a terrible parent!"
"Deckers, your a wonderful parent!"
Ant went to speak to Maddy and got quite a lot out of her.
"This girl in my class is always really horrible to me, I heard her saying that I was fat as well, but i promise you that's not the reason why I'm not eating!"
"You sure love?"
"Yes I'm sure Da!"
"I'll go to tell your D...."
"Please don't tell Dad, I don't want him to get worried about me!"
"I'm sorry but I have to tell your Dad, it's for the best!"
"Finnneeeee!"
