Malik POV

I got out of bed and walked to the bathroom to brush my teeth. After, that I took me a shower and got dressed. My bestfriend but, more like a sister to me, Lo and I were going to hang out today. I texted her I'm ready and I'll be over after, her exams and shit was done. It was still morning so, I decided to call Sevyn and drive to In n Out when our phone conversation was over.

Sevyn POV

"Ooh ooo you got it like that Daddy" I said as my vibrating phone woke me up from my dream

"Hello, who is this" I said not even paying attention to the caller ID

"Oh may bad. You must not be a morning person" Malik said

"No. It's all good & I'm glad you called but, you interrupted my damn dream"

"I just wanted to call you to ask ya do you want to hang out before I spend the rest of day with my sis"

"Umm.. Sounds good, thanks for the invite" I said, cheesing hard over the phone

"Good luck on exams & I'll see you later"

Sevyn POV

Lordd! Those exams were finally over but, they still hit us up with a essay that has to be 1000-1200 words and it's due tomorrow night at 12:59 a.m. I was gone start on it tonight and I was headed to It'Sugar.

As, I headed to the chocolate section, I noticed Damien. I was hoping he didn't recognize me and it was a fail.

"Wassup, ma" He said making his way over to me

"Oh! Hello, Damien. How are you?" I said as, I grabbed 2 yard boxes of Twix

"I'm even better now, yourself?" Damien said shaking my free hand

"I'm good" I said looking for something else to buy

"Let me help you with that" He said grabbing both boxes of twix

"Thanks" I said with a slight smile

Damien & I both were just hanging out and getting to know each other when I got lost in the track of time..

"Damien, today was great but I have to get going," I said finishing my last bite of the Snickers Bar Chunks and Cheesecake

"Satisfying"

"Was it that good?" Damien said, looking at my empty plate that had a few crumbs on it. "We can leave whenever you ready."

"Yes! It was sensational. I'm done and thanks for lunch" I said wiping my mouth

"No problem, ma" He said paying the bill, helping me out of my seat & I told him "thanks"

We both left the Cheesecake Factory and were going to our apartment building.

| At the Apartment Building|

Me & Damien parked right next to each other and headed to the apartment building door. We were walking when I heard 2 familiar voices. I could recognize the 2 voices because when me & Damien turned the corner it was Pryce & Malik arguing over god knows what

Pryce POV

I was walking to my baby 7ev apartment when I spotted Malik, so I decided to confront him

"Yo, you that nigga who messing with my girl?"

"Yo girl" Malik said laughing and putting both of his hands in front of him

"Let me just say this," Pryce said licking his lips before he finished talking. "Leave my baby Sevyn alone, iight"

"If I don't? & She wasn't telling me y'all was together last night," Malik said, smirking

"I advise you not to go there because last night was last night" I said with a death stare

"I can't have cake and eat it to? And I guess you didn't learn from last night either"

"Nigga, watch who TF you talking to"

Then, Sevyn and some random nigga comes over.

"What's going on?" She said with a confused look

"7ev, baby please stay out of it" I told her and that random nigga took a step closer to her

"But--" I cut her off. "But nothing, now back to this nigga"

"I'm done talking and all I do have to say is.. That's why I fucked yo bitch" I said punching Malik

Then, shit got cracking
