The one and only

Chapter 1

There once was a young women named Avery. She was a very rich women, because her father was a very powerful man who worked at a large factory. One night, when Avery was in her huge, beautiful bedroom, she imagined what it would be like to have all of her fathers money. She could do anything she wanted, whenever she wanted! Avery dreamt that night of killing her father and becoming the most powerful person in the universe.

The next morning, Avery woke up to the sound of birds chirping. "Today's the day..." She sang softly to herself as she got out of bed and went to her secret compartment, located behind her magnificent mirror. Avery swung her mirror to the right, and retrieved a huge butcher knife. She held the knife in the light of her chandelier made of pink crystals. The knife gleamed, and Avery smiled with pleasure. She placed the knife back and closed her secret compartment, humming softly. Then she went downstairs for breakfast.

As Avery walked back up the stairs, she thought about how hard it had been to look at her father during breakfast, knowing that she was going to kill him at sometime this day. She walked into her bedroom, and locked the door behind her. "Hmmm..." Avery thought out loud to herself. "When shall it be?" Avery looked at the clock. 9:30. She still had the whole rest of the day to choose from. "Five 'o' clock sharp! No, five fifteen! No... I got it! five seventeen!" Perfect! No one would ever guess that as the time if anyone ever found out. Satisfied, Avery laid on her bed, thinking about what she would do with all of that money. Her eyelids started to droop, and soon she started to snore...
