Rei was walking home from swim practice alone today at 9:32 since they had late practice today.normally,Nagisa would be with him since the boys were best friends,and lived three houses down from each other,with mako and haru's neighborhood being pretty far.But the blonde hadn't shown up to swim class for a few days which worried Rei and Makoto-Senpai,since Nagisa never really missed any school,let alone not contact Rei.He Was passing Nagisa's house when he saw that the bathroom light alone was on.He knocked on the door.No answer. Sighing a bit,he twisted the cold metal handle,cringing at the unbearable squeaky noise it made.
Unlocked.
He walked into nagisa's house,using his phone's flashlight to navigate his way to the dull beige stairs.The only sound being the soft thumps of his feet. He could hear small gagging sounds as he got closer to the restroom.He pushed open the door to his little penguin wearing an oversized sweatshirt,hovering over the toilet,whatever he had for lunch going in."Nagisa!" He rushed over to the slightly smaller male and plumped down next to him.He placed a hand on his back,moving his hand in a circular motion for a moment,before rushing down stairs to get him a glass of water.He pulls out a cup with penguins and purple butterfly's on it and filled it,quickly,and clumsily yanking the knob,forcing the clear tap water to a halt.He quickly walked up the stairs and handed Nagisa the glass of water."Why didn't you tell us you were sick?!"
The blonde nearly choked on his water.Pausing a moment to look at Rei.His throat burned everytime he tried to speak,so,gripping the plastic cup in his hands and motioned for Rei to follow him.The blue-haired male obediently stood up and followed Nagisa into his room,where he got out a sketch pad and pencil to finally answer rei's question. He took a few moments to write down an answer,then handed it to the butterfly swimmer.
Rei paused for a moment to push his glasses up to the bridge of his nose,then read the messily scribbled writing,mumbling the words on the paper to himself."Why wouldn't we care Nagisa? Your our friend,and we care about your health!" He barked.before the little penguin could say a word,he was scooped up by Rei,a bright red covering his flushed face.and plopped onto the bed."you're getting rest,and mako-senpai and haru-senpai are being phoned!" The taller male was walking downstairs to get his cell phone,When he was tackled to the ground by the blonde.luckily,Rei was facing the floor,so Nagisa couldn't see the blush spreading on his face like a map on a table."N-Nagisa!" He cried. "G-Get off!" All the boy did was lay his head down on Rei's back,falling asleep in a matter of seconds.This was going to be a long night......
