The sound of the propellers slowed down as the helicopter came closer to the ground. Tom smiled as the pilot got out of the helicopter.
"Yo man, what's up Tom." He smiled and stretched his arms out for a hug.
"Nothing much, how about you and Sonja?" Tom asked while returning the hug. They parted and started their way onto the flying machine.
"She got promoted. Now she's on air strike duty," Tucker smiled and climbed into the pilot's seat as Tom got in the passenger's.
"Now you love birds can spend even more time together," the British chuckled as Tucker started the engine once more.
"You should consider getting a partner yourself." The American suggested.
The winding of the propellers grew louder and louder, making it difficult to understand what Tom's response was. The British rolled his eyes at the idea.
'A partner will just get in my way.' He though to himself.

Tom straightened his red tie as he walked through the doors of the agency. People in all types of disguises were walking all around the lobby.
They were either on their way to a mission or coming back from one and claiming their prizes. This was the A.S.U.A. also known as, Agency of the Secret Undercover Assassins. To put it more simply, people who work here are secret agents that kill people who are threats to our economy. There are many branches to this agency, almost 100.
The branch Tom works for is a bit different, instead of being assigned a job, they get to pick one. There was a wall full of 'ads', they are just posters that state the job, the prize money the agents get when they complete the job, and where the job while take place. (This will change since some criminals are on the run and won't be in one place for too long.)
Everyone who works here will be here for life. No normal person knows this type of agency exists. The government needs to keep this a secret, because if the public knew, they would call this inhumane. To kill someone because they did something wrong in the past or partook in something that went against the government in a violet way.
No one would be here unless they really wanted to. This was one of the most dangerous jobs in the world. You have to be exposed to dangerous like, extreme weather conditions, knifes, guns, wild or dangerous terrain, murder, and death. Some people were born into this lifestyle from parents who works or worked here. Others knew of this place from other people and wanted to be a part of this.
But, if you must quit this job because of extreme circumstances, they will have to wipe your memory of this place and the people you met here. Not many people had this problem but it happens at least twice every year.
The British walked up to the job wall and prepared to take a job that pays a lot but will require minimal to no effort. As Tom was about to tear off one of the ads from the wall a voice called his name from behind him.
"Tom! Wait!"
Tom turned around to see who was calling him. The head of the branch, Joseph, was running towards him with his hand out-stretched.
"Hi sir." The shorter male smiled and greeted. Joseph stopped in front of Tom and handed him a black folder that held serval pieces of papers.
"Tom, this is a huge mission and I need you to go, and you have to team up with someone. That file contains the job information and the person's experience with the agency and everything else you need to know about them." The taller male smiled and patted Tom on the back. The British looked through the papers that included his further team mate's information.
His name was Jordan Maron and he belongs to a different branch. He has been in the agency for 6 years and is one of their branch's smartest agent. The job, on the other hand, was to take down a huge gang that has access to government information and weapons.
"I know that our branch doesn't assign jobs but this one is different, I need my branch's strongest and most capable agent." Joseph added.
Tom chuckled, "I didn't need you to kiss my ass in order for me to agree to this job ya' know." Joseph joined in.
"Well, just a little encouragement. Anyways, I'll leave you to it, tell me if you have any trouble. Also, your meeting your partner tomorrow so just rest for today." The head of the branch informed before walking back to his office on the top floor.
Tom sighed and placed all the papers back into the black folder, then started his way towards his room. The agency provides rooms and houses for the agent but if they wanted to live there, they have to pay the rent.
The British's room was on the fourth floor. He loved it here. Tom always had a destructive personality, this was the perfect job for him. As Tom reached his room, he waited as a small camera, that was above the doorway to his room, scans his face. After a unlocking sound was heard, Tom pushed on the door and walked into his clean room. He doesn't go here much since he's always away on mission.

The British was in a conference room with Joseph, waiting for Jordan to appear. Tom tapped his fingers on the large oval desk as he leaned back in his black rolling chair.
"How long do I have to wait before I can just go on this mission on my own?" Tom asked, impatiently.
"Forever, you have no choice. You have to take this guy with you on the mission." Joseph replied, looking a bit annoyed.
"What if he's scared and doesn't co-" Tom got cut off as the conference room door flew open. Both men in the room snapped their heads towards the door way.
A decently tall man stood there in a suit and shades. A badge that stated, in large letters, 'Jordan Maron' but the fine print reads 'The Purple Branch's Smartest Agent'.
