Chapter 3

"Hi, nice to meet you. I'm Jordan." Jordan smiled and introduces confidently.

"Nice to meet you Jordan." Joseph grinned, walked over, and reached his hand out for a handshake.

"You too, and you are?" Jordan accepted the hand shake but looked that the taller man strangely.

"Joseph, I'm the head of the Red Branch." Jordan nodded, showing that he understood. Joseph let go of Jordan's hand and waved for Tom to come over. The British rolled his eyes, but got up anyways. He put on a fake smile as he walked over to the two.

"Sup, I'm Tom and I am going to be your partner on this mission." Tom introduced with a false grin. "Nice you meet you." He added before sticking both his hands into his pockets.

"Nice to meet you too Tom." Jordan beamed.

"Well, your guys' mission starts in two days. Since Jordan doesn't have a room, I guess Tom you'll have to share." Joseph informed before walking out of the room. Tom scoff at Joseph's actions.

"Nice room." Jordan commented as they reached Tom's apartment.

"Yeah, well I don't spend much time here." The bleached blonde pointed out as he sat on the couch.

"Away on missions all the time? I'm like that too." Jordan talked as he walked around the room aimlessly. Tom propped his feet up onto the coffee table and grabbed the folder that was on the couch beside him.

"I guess we start this mission in a few days so meanwhile, you can stay in the guest bedroom." Tom informed as he looked through the mission information.

"Alright, thanks." Jordan began to walk over towards Tom to refresh his mind about the mission. He sat down beside the British and read the file over the fake blonde's shoulders. Getting annoyed by the presence, Tom closed the folder and turned towards the shorter male.

"Look here Jordan, I don't know why they would assign me a partner for this mission but just try and not get in my way." Tom glared at Jordan before standing up, setting the file onto the coffee table, and started to walk to his bedroom. Jordan was shocked, the younger man seemed so nice just a second before, soon that shock turned into anger.

"You think I want to be here too?! I could've done this on my own without your help!" Jordan yelled before standing up and stomping towards the taller man. Tom stopped dead in his tracks and turned back around to see Jordan five feet away from him, arms crossed and a mad look on his face.

"Then leave!" Tom sneered, pointing at the door.

"If I could I would! I don't need you as a partner! You'll just be a pain in my ass!" Jordan shouted. Tom scoffed and turned away. He quickly walked into his room and shut the door before the argument progresses.

Jordan groaned as he walks back over to the couch and sat down. If they were going to complete this mission, they'll have to learn to get along and both of them knew that.

Jordan stayed up late to learn as much about the mission as he could. He calculated the distance around the gang's base and the distance it takes to get there. The older man came up with maps, check lists, and planned out what weapons to take with him.

Jordan was a very neat person and liked things to be planned out. When something doesn't go as planned the American would go crazy. He also comes up with plans for others in his branch. When other agents don't know how to complete a job, they would go to the smartest person in the branch, Jordan.

The purple agent was pretty well known among all the branches, same goes for Tom. Since they both are in the Elite Agent Force (EAF).

They were a group of agents that were the best of the best among all the branches. There are only ten members allow in the EAF at a time. The leaders of branches or someone else superior (Such as the founder of the whole agency) cannot be in the EAF since they have more power than regular agents.

Although there are very few people in the Elite Force some might not even know who else is in the group.

While Jordan studied and made plans for the mission, Tom on the other hand was at the bar, in the lobby of the Red Branch, having some fun.

They are complete opposites, but opposites attract don't they?
