Miles Away From Love

If you were here I'd hold you

And if you were here I'd kiss you

I'd love to feel the touch of your lips

And the warmth of your arms

But only this distance is keeping me back.

Miles and miles away you hold my other half

Miles and miles away is where id like to be.

All I can do now is type words

Words I wish could be spoken

The words that holds the meaning

The meaning of the love I have for you

Behind this blank screen

Is the face Id love to feel

But we're separated

Separated by bodies and bodies of water

Water that tear us apart

I only wish you lived down the street

Then maybe I'd get to hold you

To feel you

To be in the safety of your arms

But with this long distance

It becomes one big blur of a wish
