Everything was blurry. All I remembered was just pictures. The paramedics came and woke me up. By the time they did, Jason had already left.
"Oh honey are you sure you wanna stay in school today?"
"Yeah mom I'm fine. More than fine, wonderful!"
"Wow what got into you?"
"Oh let's just say I met an old friend"

Kate picked me up and we met up with Jake and Carrie. "Finally! You guys took forever!"
"Nice to see you too Jake. So, what's on the menu?"
"Um to you like grill cheese?" Carrie asked me.
"My favorite!"
The waitress came and we gave her our order. But just then, Jason walked in through the glass door at the front of the diner and the small bell above it rang.
"Over here" Kate yelled at him.
"Hey guys. So.... Um Jadin are u alright?"
" yeah I'm fine"
"Well that's a relief "
"Yeah not having my head cracked open is really handy"
The food came over and we all laughed. But not for long.
She walked in with two girls at each side. Her glossy, cherry red heels snaked the floor as she walked.
"Oh, hi, didn't see ya there" she said sarcastically.
" what are ya doin' Makaila?!" Jason said who right now looked like the bravest of us all.
"Who me? I'm sorry last I checked the you 5 didn't own the diner"
"I mean you and your barbies never hang out here!" He said
"Fine I don't even want to eat here with you filthy animals staring at me"
She hoped off the bar stool and headed out the door,  but before she left I noticed something. She checked her watch. Although it was suspicious, I decided to keep it to myself.
