There is a feeling every morning of happiness and a fresh start. Although it's only a brief moment. It isn't the best of all moments in my life. But then it's over and you remember everything. All the drama and assignments due and unmade decisions. I guess it's just proving that life is ruff and happiness doesn't last forever, it never has, and never will.
"Jadin get dressed and get down here your gonna be late!!!"
"I'm coming!"
As I walked down the stairs my sister came down too. I have tried so hard to make her happy since dad died but as hard as I try, nothing ever works.
"I like your skirt Doris"
"Whatever!" She said as she tried to casually get down the stairs before me.
"We have to have cereal today cus we're out of eggs"
"That's alright mom" I said as if it didn't matter. Although I didn't ever get to choose what kind of cereal we bought, that was always Doris' terf. And if you didn't guess it, I hated the cereal!
"What's up, Johnson" Jason said to me as we passed in the hallway.
It was a funny thing. As he left where ever he went my eyes followed. Maybe it was the fact that he was there with his hands gently gripped around my neck as I fell to the ground sort of saving me. I hadn't really thought about guys since I've gone to school here. But soon enough that changed.
"So what are you doing tonight, wanna go see a movie?" Kate asked "I think Kevin might come"
"Hey what's up with that guy Kevin?"
I asked trying not to sound rude.
"Oh right! Yeah he's gay"she said with absolutely no shame.
"Oh so your not going out"
"No ew! Ha ha ha"She said
"So what movie were you planing on seeing?"
"I don't know. Maybe we could see that be one coming out, about the botanist on mars"
"Ohh yeah that sounds good!"
"Well then I can pick you up at 7"
"Okay see ya"I said walking down to history class.
"Hey mom"
"Yeah?"
"Could I go see a movie with Kate?"
"Um what time would you be back?"
"Maybe 9"
"Well your lucky you don't have school, so why not"
"Yessssss! I'll be home at nine"
"Okay dear. Have fun!"
"I have been dying to see this movie"
After the movie
"So did you like it" Kate asked
"Yeah it was awesome! But I do need to be home by 9 so we might wanna get going."
"Right"She said
We got in the car and were on our way home.
And when I got home The house was filled with people! All I could hear was glass breaking and really loud music.
"Oh my god did Doris have a party?!"
