'Beep, beep, beep'
That's what Mabel heard, with a still 'beeeep'.
Mabel opened her eyes, while being blinded. When she was able to see, she looked around. She was in a hospital, and she looked at the person besides her. It was Dipper. The still 'beeeep' was signaling that he was gone.
She started to cry.
Someone came into the room.
"Oh! My goodness! You're alive!" A male said. Mabel looked up, it was a doctor.
"H-hey," Mabel said meekly. "Dipper didn't make it.." Her voice trailed off, she was crying harder.
'Beep, beep, beep'
That started Mabel. Dipper was alive, not dead, but still in the coma.
"Mabel Pines, we need to check you, and then you are free to go home... Next week is your birthday, you were out for almost an entire summer," the doctor pointed out.
Mabel was checked, and she no signs that she had to stay. Dipper, however would have to stay.
The doctors and nurses drove her home, and when the door opened, Mabel received a big hug from both parents.
"Mabel!!!" Her mother exclaimed.
"Are you okay sweetie?" Her father asked, she nodded solemnly.
She was welcomed home. But she was only half.
