Tomorrow will Be Better (Mike Fuentes Fanfic)

Part 2

Mike's pov

"Well Kate I think tha-" I started to say but she cut me off.

"Oh my gosh, I'm gonna be late for work , uhh here's my number, text me sometime" she said and scribbled her number down on my hand. "Bye Mike" she said

"Bye Kate" I said waving as she turned around. I never realized how skinny she was. But she is so beautiful. I didn't think she would be that sweet.

"So how did it go?" Vic asked as I walked over.

"I got her number" I said and showed him my hand.

"Sweet! What's her name?" He asked.

"Kate, god she's gorgeous" I said thinking about her. "She had some awesome tattoos!"

"We should probably head home, and you should add that number in your phone before you lose it" Tony added. I nodded and added the number to my contacts.

Kate's pov

Wow, Mike seemed so cool. I really do hope he texts me. He seemed so nice. I just ... I don't know.... I don't usually feel like this.

After work I started walking home when my phone vibrated. I checked the message.

Unknown number: Hey it's Mike from the mall earlier :)

I smiled and replied to his text.

Hey:) I'll save your number

I quickly saved his number and put my phone in my pocket.

Once I got home I quickley went up to my room, avoiding my family and put my phone on the charger while I changed into some pajama shorts and a tank top. Once I did that I took off all of my makeup and put my hair in a braid before turning on my music and getting comfy in my bed. I grabbed my phone and saw that i had a text from Mike.

Mike: wanna get coffee of something tomorrow? :)

I smiled and thought about the offer... sure why not

That sounds great! What time? :)

I went on Snapchat and took a quick selfie and added it to my story. After that Mike texted me back.

Mike: How about 10? :)

I set my alarm clock for 8:30 and then replied.

Sounds perfect! I'll meet you at Starbucks at 10 :)

Mike: great, see you soon :)

Then I put my phone back on the charger and turned off my music. I shut off my light and I went to sleep.

The next morning.

I woke up to my alarm clock buzzing. God I hate that sound...

I quickly shut it off and hopped in the shower. After I finished showering I wrapped a towel around me and went find a cute outfit for today. I decided on a purple long sleeve crop top that says WILD on it and some short shorts since it's like 78°. I slipped on my thong and my Victoria's secret bra slipped on the clothes. After that I went in the bathroom again and got out my blow dryer. Once my hair was set I put it in a side braid and started on my makeup. I did a very thin layer of eyeliner, with I little bit of light pink eyeshadow and some mascara. Then I added some pink lip gloss. I slipped on my purple shoes and my grey beanie and plugged in my earbuds.

I walked out the door and started towards the coffee shop. Once I got there Mike was already sitting down at a table with two coffees. I smiled and walked over.

"Hey!" I said cheerfully as I sat down across from him.

"Hey! I'm glad you remembered" he said flashing me a smile.
