"silent night" The horror version on youtube

The best explanation everyone had for the strange letters was that Chewie was messing around by playing a prank. It wasn't as though there were any other alternative ideas. What would it be, someone snuck inside the school and was fooling around by leaving creepy letters and playing around with the lights and sound system? That seemed too ridiculous of a theory to give life to.Still, Lily found herself spending a long time looking over the strange letters. What she couldn't get over was the one addressed to Beverly from a Jacob. Wasn't that the name of lunatic janitor that killed the teacher? It was addressed from 1998. There was one line in the letter that didn't make sense to Lily.
If you're in, I want our forever to begin.
That to Lily made it seem like Beverly had a choice in the matter. Were she and Jacob Broome on friendly terms back in 98'? But that wouldn't make too much sense. How are you on friendly terms with someone before you slice apart their body and play hide and seek with the parts? Jacob was a mental case who didn't speak, but that seems very extreme even still...
Over an hour passed where Lily just used the light of her phone to read and re-read the letters. She couldn't fall asleep. More than anything, she just wanted to go home. Her sleeping bag was plenty warm and comfortable, but the thought of laying her head down and closing her eyes didn't seem appealing. Before some people laid down for the night, Davion made sure to lock the door to the small office area they were all gathered in beforehand. Even though he seemed too much of a tough guy to admit it, Lily could tell the machete incident spooked him.
Instead of sleeping like the few others chose to, Lily sat with her back against the cold basement wall as she glanced through all the letters, trying to find some hidden clue behind who left them. Everyone assumed it was Chewie because he still hadn't made a reappearance, but Lily didn't get that same impression. It was nearly four in the morning, and she found it rather absurd no one really seemed too worried about this situation. Chewie doesn't seem dedicated enough of a person to remain in hiding for hours after a prank.
There was something about everything that's happened that caused Lily to become incredibly uneasy, but, she couldn't figure out whether it was because of the tricks Chewie was supposedly pulling or because she felt guilt for betraying her parents trust.
Maybe her wanting so desperately to go home was just her subconscious feeling guilt for lying to her mom and dad about her whereabouts.
The very strangest thing in Lily's opinion were the cell phones not working. She still didn't have reception and neither did anyone else. Even though only five of her classmates were fast asleep while the others were either talking or drinking, no one seemed too concerned with the lack of reception. Usually during school hours it was near impossible not to get a signal. Lily could get annoying cat memes from her brother at odd hours during the school day just fine.
"What's wrong?" Nico yawned, pulling himself into a stretch as he reached around for his glasses. His sandy colored hair was messy from his previous laying down.
No one really paid him too much attention for his question. The remaining people who were still awake were either now too buzzed from the wine coolers Abby brought, or dazzled with JP's cell phone that he had downloaded movies on before they came to school. Lily couldn't tell, but it sounded like the remaining people who were still awake were crowded around watching Project X.
"I wish I had reception so I could look up the teachers death" Lily answered, examining once more to see if she had any bars. There was none. As Nico came closer and started to examine his own phone, Lily could tell he didn't have reception either.
"That sounds like fun reading" Nico nodded, his sarcasm poorly hidden.
"I'm just a little freaked about all weirdness so far" Lily admitted, giving a small jump as Davion gave a loud snore a few feet away. He slept so awkwardly with one arm flailed behind him while the other was stuffed under his head, Lily couldn't figure out how he possibly slept in such a position. She felt uncomfortable just watching him.
"Yeah...I'm sorry about everyone not wanting to leave" Nico said, clearing his throat. "I can see why no one really wants to, but all the stuff that happened was kinda freaky."
Lily didn't really understand the bizarre want Reese had for staying. It most definitely would be cool if the legend of the murdered teacher was either proved for certain to be true or false, but the entire plot seemed rather stupid.
If it came to disproving some silly story about a haunting or being safe, Lily would choose the latter without a doubt.
"Has anyone heard from Chewie?" Lily asked, frowning as she finds there still wasn't reception. Out of the nine students, four of them had different phone companies. How did no one have reception?
