Lately I haven't been feeling so well, so Ethan is supposed to be coming over today to hang out with me today. I've been in my room all day and I haven't even gotten out of bed yet. My hair is in a messy bun, and I'm wearing leggings with one of Ethan's hoodies that he gave me. I don't feel like changing, and I won't since I feel very comfortable around Ethan. After a couple of minutes of checking my phone, I hear the doorbell ring. I get out of bed and rush down the stairs. I open the door to see a smiling Ethan. I instantly jump into his arms and feel relief rush inside me.
I invite him and we go into the living room. "Look, I brought Chinese food!" Ethan says setting the food on the coffee table. I just smile at him and say thank you. He always knows just what to do to cheer me up.
We get settled in and get some blankets to wrap ourselves on the couch. We decided on watching The Vampire Diaries since we got so left behind in the show.
I lean closer into Ethan when we're both done with our food. He instantly wraps his arms around me and pulls me impossibly close into his chest. In that moment, I feel as if all is right in the world and I even forget about how bad I was feeling earlier.
Eventually I start to drift off into sleep, but right before I'm completely knocked out, I hear him whisper "I love you" into my ear and he kisses my cheek.
