"Terrific, another terrible year in this hell hole of a school," I sighed, adjusting the bags on my shoulder. I mean, the school is fine and all, it's just I wish they had chosen a different color for the walls. Honestly, grey it just too depressing.

"I don't think it'll be that bad, actually. It might even be fun!" Zach cheered from beside me.

We may be twins, but we look so different. His mahongany colored hair matched our mother's, while my dirt blonde hair matched our father's. On the otherhand, I got our mother's tan skin and blue eyes, while he got our father's pale skin and hazel eyes. Other than that, we look pretty similar.

"What makes this year any different than last year?" I questioned skeptically. He opened his mouth before a familiar feminine voice rang through the air.

"We're freshman now, beeotch!" she said. Zach's eyes lit up when he saw her, while mine neerly popped out of my head.

"Hey, Kat," he said, attempting to grab her grabs. She veered away from him to my side and his eyes looked almost sad. She just stuck her tongue out.

"Dude! SInce hwne were you a red head?!" I asked, lifting up one of her red curls. She just titled her head so the curl fell out of my grasp.

"I wanted a new look for a new year," she smiled. Not going to lie, since she got her braces off her smile didn't look terrible anymore.

"Well, you look like a clown now," Zach teased.

"Oh! I was thinking of joinging clown camp! But I want to be one of those clowns that get thrown in the air, not the ones that clean up after the elephants," she scrunched up her nose.

"Really? I thought you would the one that tames the lion," Zach offered. I sighed and looked down at my class listing. Biology, Algebra Honors, Spanish 1, World Civics, English 1, and Gym. Thank goodness, I love having Gym as 6th period. But science as first period, oh Lord. I'm not even good at science, having it at 8 am really won't help my grade.

"Ouch!" Zach's voice screamed. I looked over and saw Zach in a headlock on the floor with Kat straddling his back. I shook my head.

"Honestly, I leave you guys for a minute and you cause a scene," I sighed, laughing at how a 4'10 girl can practically knock out a 5'7 teenage boy that's at least ten pounds heavier than her. Plus, she's wearing a dress, covered in flowers.

"He started it! He said that Santa Claus isn't real!" she yelled at me. Zach was frantically clawing at her arms with a look of amusemnt in his eyes.

"Uhm, I gotta go, uh, change my feet," I said, slowly turning around and fast walking to west wing where all the high schoolers live. The east wing is for middle schoolers.

"Break it up!" a gaurd yelled, pulling my two classmates apart. I recognised them as Bill and Ryan, the two kids that always got into fights. They weren't even that good at fighting, they just got aggitated easily. The gaurd, Stephen, nodded to me. I nodded my head before running up to the fourth floor. I opened the door and recognised the lay out. I mean, it's not like I've been going to school here since the 6th grade or anything...

"Hey, Cody! Man, good seeing you again!" my good friend, Jules said. He had black hair styled up that made him look like Zayn from One Direction. Don't judge me.

"Yo, Jules! Back again, I see?" I said, giving him the typical bro hug. We pulled away and kept walking down the crowded hall.

"Yeah, the folks thought I still needed to work on 'controlling my emotions'. In other words, they're emberassed by me," he said, getting a ad ook in his eyes. I clapped his shoulder.

"Hey, man, it'll get better," I tried. He just shrugged before going into room 12. Dammit, I was hoping he would be my roommate this year.

Last year I got this guy that wouldn't stop falling but kept catching himself at the last minute. I know there was a name for it, but I can't remember. It was a bit weird hanging out with him all the time, because he kept falling over me. One time, he fell an caught Kat's boob on accident. Zach neerly beet the crap out of him.

This is it, room 28. I burst in and was surprised when I saw an almost empty room. I'm never the first one to the room. There are two beds and two closets, so I highly doubt I'll be by myself. Oh well.

I began my unpacking, doing my usual arrangement. Clothes in the dresser, jackets in the closet, sports equipment in the closet, books on top of the dresser, posters on the wall. By the time my little manuever was done, I was covered in sweat. I opened the window before taking my shirt off. I used it to wipe the rest of my body off. I threw it into the corner and started looking for another shirt. When I heard the door open I turned around, ready to greet my new roommate. But what I saw wasn't at all what I was expecting.
