Elaina's POV
Joe and Caspar picked me up at 8. I couldn't keep my eyes off of Joe. I caught him starring a couple of times. I really like him. I need to talk to someone. I know I could talk to Caspar but he's not serious at times. We got to the restraint and I realized I couldn't go through with this. Caspar come here I said as I ushered him to the side. What is it Liana we can't just leave Joe Caspar said a little annoyed. I don't think I can do this I said. Caspar I'm too nervous. You know how I get when I'm nervous. It's okay Liana you'll be fun Caspar reassured me. We walked inside me sat down. Pretty soon things started to go downhill. You could say it was a series of unfortunate events.
So I went to sit down but then I tripped over a waiter spilling the drinks on the floor. Luckily Joe caught me before I hit the floor. We sat down as my face grew more red by the minute. Joe and Caspar tried calming me down by catching little shrimps in their mouths. A waiter walked by with a flaming soufflé and the shrimp caught on fire and landed on Caspar's head. Everyone started freakin out so I drenched Caspar in my water. As I stood up I knocked over those little tables the waiters use to serve food getting some strong language from some teens about my age. Then the teens threw some floor mashed potatoes at me but I ducked and it hit Joe in the crotch. Joe just scowled at them and tried his best to get it off. They kicked us out of the restaurant for being a "disturbance". I ran out of the restaurant embarrassed and crying. I'm the clumsiest person alive. Joe and Caspar walked to the car and changed clothes. I started to apologize I felt so bad.
Joe Caspar I'm so so so sorry I ruined the whole night Caspar I ruined your hair and shirt and Joe well I ruined your pants I'm the clumsiest person alive and such a disappointment to everything. Liana explained as she hung her head. No no no it's okay Eliana I thought it was pretty funny Joe said trying to cheer her up. Yeah your not a disappointment Liana. It may have been embarrassing but you'll get over it. Caspar explained. Awe thanks guys you really cheered me up. Liana said.
Hey guys I have an idea. Liana started talking. Why don't we go to the park. But Liana its 10:00 and your in short sleeves. Caspar explained. I don't care I'm not cold Liana said pushing them to the park. Caspar stood on one side of Joe so they could be standing together. Caspar tapped Joe and pointed to Liana.
Joe's POV
Liana looked so beautiful. I really think I like her even after tonight's events I watched as she looked at the ground smiling. I wanted to be with her Caspar tapped me and pointed to Liana. I was confused and he explained for me to give my hoodie to her so I did. She did look cold.
Hey Liana you look cold take my jacket. Joe offered.Oh no Joe I couldn't take your jacket you need it. Liana denied. It's okay I'm not that cold Joe explained. Liana took the jacket and put it on. It engulfed her as she was just five feet. Liana looked at Joe and they blushed.
They thought to themselves
I want him to like me
I want to kiss her......
They walked back into the car and drove Liana home. Bye guys she said mid yawn. She's so cute when she sleepy Joe thought to himself. Goodnight Liana Caspar said. Goodnight Liana Joe said. Liana walked into her house and smiled. She laid on her bed and started to cry.
I just want him to like me. But then again I'm not good enough he will never like me. Liana cried herself to sleep.
Joe and Caspar sat in the kitchen on their laptops. Caspar? Joe said. Yeah Joe. Caspar said back. I think I like her Joe said quietly. I know Caspar smirked. H-how do you know!! It's the way you look at her. It's the way I looked at Emily. The room grew silent. A few minutes later Joe spoke up. I want to take her on a date..I want to know if I have your permission since your so brotherly to her. Joe quickly said. Yeah go ahead I want you guys together because I know she likes you. Caspar explained. Joe thought to himself. She really does like me.
Joe went upstairs and went to bed soon followed by Caspar turning the lights off and going into his own room. If only Joe knew how much Liana was hurting
