Chapter 8

Lucy's POV
We got back to the guild to be tackled with questions about what happened.

"Lu-chan, I can't figure out how to fix it" Levy cried with anime tears.

"It's ok. Keep up the good work, we're gonna get some sleep" I said as I carried Natsu to my house.

"So why did you go on the mission?" I asked putting Natsu on the bed.

"I wanted to get some money for your rent" Natsu admitted sheepishly.

"R-really? You risked your life to get rent money for me?" I asked as a blush covered my face.

"Yeah, I felt bad that I spent the last of your money when I broke the building in our mission" he said with a nervous laugh as he scratched the back of his head.

"Baka!" I yelled kicking him.

"I'm sorry" he wined as he stood up.

"Thank you!" I said as I pulled him into a hug. I lifted him up and kissed his cheek, causing him to grow. I opened my eyes to find them starring into his whilst my lips still touched his cheek, a blush clear on both our faces.

"I'm back to normal..." He mumbled sounding slightly disappointed.

"Yeah I guess you are" I said with a smile. He looked me in the eyes as the gap between us started to close.

"Luce" he whispered as a blush covered his face.

"Natsu" I whispered back. He learned in but before our lips met, he fell to the floor limp.

"Natsu? Natsu?!" I yelled trying to wake him up. Please wake up! I mentally yelled as I ran him to the guild.

"Levy!" I yelled out as I kicked the doors down.

"Lu-chan what wro-" she stopped mid sentence when she saw me giving Natsus lifeless body a piggy back.

"Help him" I sobbed as Gajeel took him off of me, the heavy weight starting to disappear.

"Ah! He's burning" Gajeel yelled as he dropped Natsu back onto my back.

"I don't care, save him!" I yelled as Natsus heat burned my skin. I'm not loosing you again I thought as I looked at his face that laid on my shoulder.

"Ok bring him here" Wendy called. I laid him on one of the tables as Wendy checked his medical signs.

"Someone check the others" Wendy said with fear in her eyes.

"Why? What happened?" I asked panicked as Wendy looked into my eyes as tears formed in hers.

"He's..."

Grays POV
I walked from the guild with a sleeping Juvia in my arms. When I got back to her apartment and put her on the bed.

"Gray-sama" she whispered in her sleep. I sit next to her on the bed and learn down, placing my forehead on hers.

"Your only mine" I whispered as a smile crept onto her face. Her eyes sprung open and met mine.

"And your only mine" she whispered surprising me. I jumped up with a blanket of scarlet covering my cheeks.

"What's wrong Gray-sama?" She asked as she sat up.

"N-nothing" I stuttered averting my eyes trying to hide my face.

"Juvias cold, please lay with her" she said patting the bed. Hesitantly, I laid beside her and let her snuggle into me.

"Gray!" Erza yelled bursting through the door. I jumped out of the bed and onto my hands and knees.

"I'm sorry I didn't touch her, please don't-" I was interrupted as her hand pulled me up.

"It's Natsu, you have to hurry!" She yelled running out the door. I picked up Juvia and ran to the guild. The doors were already open so I continued to run in until shock told my body to freeze.

"Natsu..."

Yes I left it on a cliff hanger don't hate me (-_-)' I just wanted to tell you that this book will come to an end soonish, but there is a big surprise in the next couple of chapters.
