Still The One

Chapter 3

My eyes fluttered open and adjusted.

"where am i ? What happened" i thought.

There was a man in the room, which seemed to be somewhat familiar but my vision was still a bit blurry and adjusting.

All i could see was a blurred figure of a man, but i heard him pacing around the room.

Maybe he knows what happened to me? or where i am..

"W-where am i? What happened?" i asked confused.

"You're awake ?! She's awake !!" He yelled out the door.

Then, my eyes adjusted and were clearly focused. I thought for a second.

Wait ! I know that voice !

"H-Harry ?!" i screamed.

"Ow !" i screamed from the shot of pain i got in my back when i screamed.

"Yes" He answered, walking over to me.

"Where am i? what happened? when did you get back?" i kept asking him questions. I was so confused.

"You're in a hospital bed because you got hit by a car while crossing the street. I got back today. I was going to surprise you but then you technically surprised me with all this" he spoke motioning his hands around everything in the room.

"Well.. Who hit me with their car?"

"Not sure, but whoever it was sped off as soon as it happened."

"How did you find me?"

"I was on my way to your house when i saw you lying in the street so i brought you to the hospital right away"

Just then the doctor walked in.

"Okay, i ran some tests and looked over all the x-rays and everything."

"And?" Harry asked.

"She has to stay here, in bed, for the next 4 days.. She has to go through surgery tomorrow because she has a fractured vertebrae.. After the surgery, she will need to rest here until Thursday."

"Okay, Just take care of her!"

"Of Course." Then the doctor left.

"What did the doctor say?"

"Well you don't have any memory loss but tomorrow you will be going through surgery because you have a fractured vertebrae and need surgery as soon as possible on it. You get out of this hospital on Thursday"

i was actually pretty scared. I don't like pain, no pain at all. That's why i don't even have my ears pierced ! i cant handle that kinda pain let alone surgery !

"Harry, will you stay here with me and during the surgery?" i begged.

"You know i cant take pain" i added.

"Of course Risa!" he answered.

"Thanks Harry"

"Its okay Risa, You'll be fine and we can go out for ice cream as soon as you're out of this hospital!"

"Yay!" i yelled in excitement causing another shot of pain to shoot down my back.

"Ow!" i cried out.

"I gotta tell the boys and our parents that you're awake and what the doctor said. I will be right back okay ?"

"Okay, but tell our parents to come in please?"

"Alright" and he walked out.

Harry's P.O.V-

I cant believe she actually remembered me, especially because she got hit by that car which most of the time causes some type of memory loss.

I walked out and went to the seats everyone was at. Both my Mom and Risa's Mom were there, crying.

Our Dad's aren't exactly here. Both our Dads had walked out on us and our moms. We were so little though, so it's kinda hard to remember them anyway.

I told them exactly what the doctor said and that she is awake. Then i told them that i was staying here with her for the next few nights.

"Alright" they all nodded in agreement to letting me stay with her.

"Oh, uhh ... Mom and mom #2" i chuckled.

"Risa wants to see you" i added.

They walked away and i sat down next to the boys because only 2 people are aloud in her hospital room at a time.

Risa's P.O.V-

My mom and Anne walked in both crying.

"Please don't cry ! i'll be out of here on Thursday perfectly fine !" i begged.

"We know.. it's just hard to see you like this" Anne stated.

"So you have surgery Tomorrow and then Thursday you get out of here"

"I heard .. Harry told me"

"Alright, well it's getting pretty late, we gotta head home. Bye babe, We love you!" they both stated.

"Bye, Love you too!"

After they left Harry came in.

"I asked the doctor, and i'm aloud to stay here for the next few nights, and i can move this bed next to yours" He stated pushing the other bed in the room closer to mine.

"Thank You Harry"

"It's not a problem, i missed you anyway so i get to spend more time with you anyway" He smiled which gave me butterflies.

"You'll have the surgery tomorrow, and you'll be fine.. Then, when you get out on Thursday, we can go for some ice cream."

"Yay" i said trying not to say it too excitedly because i don't want pain.

He sat on his bed and faced me.

"So who is this Sammii ? Why cant you leave her to go on tour with me?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"Sammii is my Girl Best Friend. I would miss her way too much. Besides, she's a Directioner too so it wouldn't be fair." i stated.

"Meaning you are a Directioner ?"

"Yes, why wouldn't i be?"

"I dont know.. So who is your favorite member?"

"You, Duh ! Do you not remember me voting for you every night and being there for your audition ?!"

"I just wanted to hear you say it" He spoke in a mischievous voice.

"Nice Harry ...."

"So i see you're still wearing that necklace i sent you" He winked.

"Yeah, i always miss you because we haven't talked for like 3 years and we used to be so close !" i let the tears stream down my face.

"Don't cry, i missed you too and how close we were. That's why i called you and asked you to go with us on tour."

"So will you ?" He added.

"Under 2 conditions.."

"Anything!"

"1 Sammii gets to go on tour too"

"Deal"

"And 2, Sammii's Favorite is Niall.. We gotta Hook them up!" I winked.

"Done and okay! Niall's been wanting a girlfriend anyway so..."

"You need your rest, get some sleep" He added then kissed my forehead.

"Night night Harold"

"Night Risa" He chuckled.

I sat there worrying about the surgery tomorrow as Harry fell asleep.

"What if somehting goes wrong? or What if i become paralyzed ?!" i thought.

"Okay calm down Risa, there's nothing to worry about.. you'll be okay and besides Harry is with you so you'll be okay. Everything is going to be fine" i thought trying to calm myself down.

It eventually worked.

I was so exhausted and i soon fell asleep calmly.
