Chapter 3

My hand reached out towards the handle of my door, but then froze fearing that it was another trap. I examined my surroundings and found a box. The box was quite plain, it was made out of cardboard and was just lying next to plants. I slowly walked towards it and opened the box. There were just random stationary that I didn't need. I was about to leave until something glowing caught my eye. My arm dug into the box and pulled out the mysterious object. It was a card, a card from the CIA. It read:

Dear Benson,
It is me Frank. I have supplied you gadgets that you will need for your mission. As you can see in the box, there is a pencil, ruler, eraser, sharpener, calculator and a pen. The pencil is a communication device, the eraser is a bomb, the sharpener is a knife, the pen is a laser pointer or torch, the ruler is a tranquilliser and the calculator is a pistol. there is also a pencil case which, obviously is everything proof. I have also given a bonus gadget disguised as glasses, it is a multitool. which consists of x-ray vision, night vision, long range hearing and sight, heat wave scanner and finally...SUNGLASSES!!

How to use gadgets:
Communication device: push down the eraser tip of the pencil for 3 seconds then a red light should flash. Say what you have to say.
Bomb: bend the eraser 12 times then throw.
Knife: there is a button inside the sharpener hole. Press it and then a sharpened blade will fly out.
Laser pointer/ torch: twist the grip of the pen 10 times to activate laser pointer and 12 times for torch.
Tranquilliser: there is a button concealed as the number 15. Then push the button. hypnosis dart should shoot out and inject the person aimed at.
Pistol: type in the numbers'"391" then press "=" the calculator should automatically transform into a pistol. For more ammo search the battery cover.
Multitool: there are 4 buttons on the inside of the lens. Red, yellow, blue and green. Red is for heat scanner, yellow is for long range hearing and sight, blue is for x-ray and green is for night vision. If you were wondering, the lens are transition lens so the sunglasses appear when looking into the sunlight.

One last thing, no one can use any of your gadgets because I set a fingerprint scanner on all of them.

I threw the letter away and watched it burst into flames and blow away into the afternoon sky. I then turned the door handle and entered. Still holding onto the box of gadgets I took a step into the house and flicked on the light. a bright yellow illuminate bulb turned on an I continued down to my bedroom. My clothes were all ripped and drenched, so I opened my closet and dug out a Nike top and tracksuit pants. I stripped off my old clothes and wore the fresh new pair of Nike top and tracksuit pants. I then walked towards the living room and sat down on the couch with my feet resting on the table.

I had a sudden sense that I was being watched. Watched by something that want to kill me. I stood up and walked up to my room, then back down in a black tuxedo and brought all the gadgets with me. I looked at then front door and then, a barrage of artillery fire shot through the house. Without deciding, I sprinted as fast as I could travel to the kitchen door then ran out. Another unit of bulky, spies disguised as SWAT units approached from the back trying to flank me. I didn't want to be hit, but nor did I want to die.

I climbed up the sewage pipe and once I reached the roof, I shifted my body weight to land onto roof. Bullets were flying everywhere, left and right, up and down and I was I the middle of it all of it trying to dodge the bullets. One bullet had shot through my leg and pierced straight through my skin, and feel back from the force of the bullet. I quickly clutched onto the sewage pipe which was now breaking. right below me was an army and above me was ricocheting bullets which destroyed everything in it's path. the only thing between me and getting caught or dying was a balcony from the other house. I had to make my timing correct which I did, and made onto the rusty and broken balcony. I then climbed  up a ladder which was conveniently placed onto the roof. once I arrived up, I tried to stand up without being blown off the roof and dying. I then leaped onto another roof almost slipping off. I kept jumping from building to building and then jumped onto a moving car. I looked over my neck and saw the spies racing towards me in SWAT cars and firing assault rifles and machine guns in the air. The car started to sped up even more and made a sharp drift to the right. Then was caught alight at the back of the car. The driver opened the door, and did a duck and roll out of the red Toyota and I jumped off the car and rolled to the pathway.

The SWAT cars hauled to a stop where the burning car was and went searching for me, but eventually gave up and drove away. Little did they know, to search under the sewer lid which was under the dumpster and which leads to all of Melbourne.
