......................................

"Ahh," Jon closed the door of their house behind him while Chris turned the lights on, "I'm too full to even move," the guitarist laughed and gently tugged on the hand that he was gripping, bringing his fiancé closer for a kiss.

"We have to add our Christmas photo to the album, love," Chris reminded him while he guided him into the sitting room where they both left the bags containing their presents on the coffee table before Jonny collapsed on the sofa pulling down his unsuspecting boyfriend with him.

"Hey!" Chris giggled and shifted a bit on Jonny's lap, trying to even his weight so as not to make it too uncomfortable for him.

"You are my Christmas present," the younger man announced, tightening his arms around him.

"Fair enough, then, but you have already played with me so you can't return me," he leaned fully against Jon, draping an arm around his shoulders.

"Oh, I'm not planning to," Jonny closed his eyes and rested his forehead on Chris' chest causing his fedora to slightly slide back from his head. "Can you put the hat on the table for me, please, love?"

"Yep," Chris followed suit and resumed his position, arms around Jon.

"Thanks."

Even though Chris could not really pinpoint it, there was something extremely liberating about being at home again, just the two of them after a day of socialising.

He loved his family and Christmas at his sister's had been wonderful, but now they were again at their safest place.

Their home.

He wondered if Jonny missed his family, his fiancé had not brought it up, but he must have despite he had wholeheartedly agreed to join him when they had discussed their plans for December. They had made a compromise before Christmas and had decided to visit Jonny's parents for a weekend later in January instead of the holidays.

He realised that now that they would get married these things would come up every year. Suddenly, Jonny's idea of hosting next year's Christmas party sounded much more appealing. Of course, they would surely have to compromise again the following year and the following and so on and so forth. This year's holiday time had been pretty hectic with them launching the album and promoting it here and there and getting ready for the tour and the Superbowl. They had had little time to visit all the friends and family as they would have liked.

Fortunately, Jonny seemed to have really enjoyed himself and so had he.

And they were engaged!!!

We are engaged!!! He thought, running his fingers over his ring.

It looked elegant on his hand, masculine and strong, as the bond it represented, he sighed in contentment and shifted slightly.

"Careful there, you, don't put pressure on my stomach," Jonny grimaced.

With a hand placed lightly over his fiancé's belly and a mischievous glint in his eye, Chris asked, "Are you gonna fart if I keep doing it?"

"Or puke."

"How romantic," Chris snorted.

"Then don't do it!" Jon let out a laugh that managed to tickle his chest, even through the fabric of his shirt.
